    Birthday fun!

One of my best friends just turned 23 over this past weekend and it was a well anticipated birthday so we planned a BIG birthday dinner on the Barking Dog patio to accomodate 18 people. The service was superb. Our waitress was attentive, courteous and professional. There was a bit of a wait before the waitress came back so we could place our orders, but it was worth it; the food was soo yummy and I had enough to take home and have for my lunch the next day! I would definitely go back for any occasion. Definitely a spot to reccomend.

    Great Brunch

Barking Dog makes you feel like you've stepped outside the city. It's cozy, quaint, and delicious - with reasonable prices for large portions, and a fantastic brunch menu. I would recommend sticking with breakfast items. The banana pecan pancakes and the chocolate cherry pancakes are equally fantastic. Definitely try the stuffed french toast if it's on special. It's the perfect alternative to the greasy diners.

    Would not recommend

After reading reviews, my wife and I tried this restaurant. Not a good choice. The mac n- cheese was dry and bland. The wings were small and uninspiring. Many other better options in Murray Hill.

    Love This Place

I live just up the street from the Barking Dog, and I think this is one of the best places in the neighborhood for a delicious brunch. They have amazing sandwiches and terrific eggs. Everything always tastes incredibly fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. Try it out!

    Easy, delicious dinner

I recently ate dinner at the Barking Dog with 3 friends on a Friday evening. We made reservations for 7:15, thinking it might be crowded, but when we arrived, it was almost empty, and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and fun. The calamari appetizer was delicious, and the Cobb salad was amazing - big and filling enough for a meal. My 3 companions all enjoyed their meals (a chicken sandwich, turkey burger, and hamburger) and the price was very reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience.

    I love the dog!

One of my favorite place to eat at or order in from. The staff is always really friendly, the food has that homecooked feel to it and everything i have tried is good. Definitely a staple for me.
