Great and simple.
The food is amazing but the service could be better. The brunch is great. I recommend the eggs, pancakes and waffles. The coffee is also really good. The bruch specials are highly recommended.

disappointed
We used to come here all the time but lately the service has REALLY fallen off. On our final visit, we ordered appetizers which never came, watched our food sit under the heat lamp for 20 minutes before arriving, and couldn't get a refill on drinks, butter for our meal, or even anyone to check in on us. The place was not busy, and there was a fly and some sticky stuff on the table--very unappetizing. We never even saw our waitress after our food came and had to contact the manager to tell him how disappointed we were. We always loved coming here, but after 2 or 3 stressful visits, we will NOT return. Too bad!

Great place
The food is very tasty and offers big portions. The wait staff is friendly. There is outdoor seating in the sun:) The only negative is for some reason teh restaurant let's people smoke in outdoor seting.

A Dog of a Meal...
How this place stays in business is beyond my comprehension. If a fast food fried chicken tastes better than what is labeled, "Barking Dog Specialty Buttermilk Fried Chicken'" one knows the meal is a dog of a meal. Everything was bland and flat. Service was non existent. Food service was slow. Basically, what ones does not want to experience at a restaurant was experienced.

Not recommended
We had the worse meal we have ever had. It was our first meal in NYC and we were hugely disappointed! Not one's meal was edible. My son ordered his burger well done, it wasn't even medium, way too undercooked. My husband ordered a roast beef sandwich, it had more fat and grizzle in it that actually roast beef. The fries on everyone's plate were soggy and we specified crispy fries. We were sat in a back corner near a cold and drafty window. The service was poor, the waitress was rude and not once she come to ask us how it was or if we needed anything. She looked like it was a chore to get us our check and cash us out. It would be one thing if they were busy, but we were only one of four tables.

downhill
Used to be a favorite... The service has gone way downhill, food not great either.
