Delivery
Ordered breakfast from this place, it took nearly 50 minutes to arrive, and they forgot to include 1/4 of the order. I called and they said they would send the rest over right away. It's now been 3 hours, and it still has not shown up. I have a strong feeling that I'm never going to see the rest of the meal that I paid for. :(

I like it
My new favorite: spinach, potato and dill pancakes, with poached eggs and creme fraiche. Delicious!

disappointing
Barking Dog just hasn't been the same since the change in mgmt a few years ago. I've had my 3rd bad experience in a row, and I'm calling it quits. My wife's salad had not so fresh pieces of lettuce in it, and my cheesesteak consisted of chunks of chewy overcooked beef. There's absolutely no reason to eat here.

Boo on Barking Dog
I've lived in the East 90s for three years now and have given barking dog several times to redeem itself as a restaurant. But, without fail, there was a problem every time I ate there; whether it was an overcooked yet somehow cold cheeseburger or a side of bleu cheese dressing that was clumped up powder and water (yes; a mix that wasn't mixed). The last straw was when we were seated without menus and nobody came by our table. After fifteen minutes we were ablt to get the waitress' attention and asked her for menus. She told us we weren't in her section but that she'd tell our server to bring them. Then, she proceeded to bring menus to the people sitting right next to us! We up and left and haven't been back since. The food is mediocre at best and the service, frankly, is terrible Seriously, if you're looking for a good meal in a nice, laid-back environment in the East 90s, Barking Dog should only be a last resort. Go to Fetch instead...that place is awesome!

Delicious food, great place.
Barking Dog at the corner of 94th street and 3rd ave is a very unique restaurant. I always have a great time there. That place is really cozy, food is delicious, portions are huge and prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. You must try their dinner blue plate specials, fish is very fresh and lamb chops are tender and delicious. Their service is great also, the waitstaff is very friendly. Dog lovers, you should sit outside at the sidewalk cafe...it's beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Just To Get By...
I came to have brunch at Barking Dog as it was the first place that I saw open on Thanksgiving Day. Was dining by myself so opted to take a seat by the bar counter. Wanted something just to fill up and get me going for the day so had the Farm Land - scrambled eggs with 'chicken hash'. The meal came quick and the plate was filled to the brim. Aside from the eggs, and hash, the dish came with a small ramekin of fruits, and a serving of hash browns. The order did fill me up, but the taste was nothing great... I was looking forward to the chicken hash resembling some sorta corned beef hash - stringy, flaky with tiny cubes of potatoes. What arrived was the creamy filling for chicken pot pie.... so this combined with the herbed scrambled eggs (the herbs of which were all compressed on one side of the eggs) - not exactly the best combination. I'm definitely think twice whether I'll come back... even with the very cheerful and responsive bar hostess, and even if this was the only place open around the neighborhood.

Very Good
Quality food Delivered very large portions and tasted "clean"- if you know what I mean!
