Lunch
I ordered a turkey burger but didn't want ciabatta bread. Too many carbs..I asked what othe bread they had and she told me I could have 7grain for a dollar more..very petty, instead of fries I was offered. A slice of tomato and a leaf of romaine...petty again...I ordered 2 macnheese to go my bill was $39.00 a bit steep I thought.

Poor service, so-so food
Went to Barking dog on saturday for brunch. Poor service! No organization among the wait staff. Any waiter or waitress took any table available. Try getting more water, coffee or having someone take your check. Didn't happen. Wanted more water. Asked waitress and bus boy twice. Finally another waitress took pity on me. As for the check, I sat there close to 20 minutes with the folder in my hand. Finally someone again took pity on me. Then our waitress came back with the receipt. One bit of advice for this place. Get organized. Being busy is one thing, being disorganized is another. Will not be going back!

took forever
I did takeout here today, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. And I don't want to be that girl that just comes on here and complains, but....they said the sandwiches would take 20 min to get to my apt, and it took over an hour and a half. No apology, discount, I had to call several times, and we had to leave and go somewhere and barely had time to wolf the food down. Even though they were delish, I prob wouldn't order from them again.

Good but 1 complaint
I love the food at barking dog.. The turkey dinner with Garvey ... Best onion rings ever. But when I got my take out. It was in a big styrofoam container! This is 2012. So bad for the environment please please get some recycled containers.

Fantastic brunch with the dogs
I knew barking dog was dog friendly and that is why my friend and I went. We were happily surprised to find out their pancakes are amazing! Seriously, money is an issue for us and we are still making this a weekly event until it gets too cold. Their service was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. Everyone else's food looked great and it was like a community outside. Highly recommend the pancakes!

OK place to eat, but lousy overpriced wines.
This is a convenient restaurant for e decent meal in the neighborhood. The menu has something for everyone and the preparation is very good. Very interesting and good salads, but watch out for the pineapple cores served to you instead of edible pineapple pieces. The waitress will correct that mistake if you ask. A glass of wine is $10, which is ridiculous for the very low quality "supermarket grade" wines they sell. There isn't an enjoyable bottle in the restaurant, which is a shame for people who drink wine with dinner. For that reason alone I usually go somewhere else. Getting back to the food, it's always fresh and the portions are generous. Try them. And tell them to improve their wine offerings and reduce the wine price.

Nice Surprise
My son and I just ate at the Barking Dog. We chose a place close to where we were staying as it was raining. So glad we did. The food was very good and the waitress was helpful and friendly. The food was piping hot and flavorful. We would definitely eat here again.
