totally worth it!
My boyfriend and I stopped by for the first time last night, and the food was incredible! We had a Kraut dog, a Bark dog, chili cheese fries and onion rings. Yes, Bark is expensive compared to a dirty water hot dog. I am happy to pay for locally sourced food. If this is something that's not important to you then you may not be able to justify the cost. To each his own. However, Crif Dog prices are the same and they DON'T use local organic ingredients. You also feel like sh** after eating there. I loved Bark and we will be back and tell our friends. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed and the staff was super friendly. Thanks for opening up in my neighborhood!

weiners and whiners
I don't know what everyone below me is on about, this place is great! My wife an I went on a rainy autumn day and it was perfect. Sure its a bit pricy but rating the place on its food and atmosphere I loved it. We had a great hotdog and a fried pork sandwich , the fries were super crisp (the way we like em!) and we were served super fast right at lunchtime.

won't give it to my dog to eat
The french fries were greasy. I ordered the new york hot dog which is sweet onions with mustard. I was extremely hungry so anything would be delicious. I had to take out the dog after 2 bites. The sweet onions and mustard and bun wasn't so bad. Maybe I am not a hot dog lover. I rather eat Gray's Papaya is much better and cheaper. Almost 9 bucks for fries and dog.

A little too expensive
I've eaten at Bark twice and had take out from there once. The food is good and I'm more than happy to support a local business that sells quality, tasty food, but...the prices are a little too expensive. $6 for a milkshake and $5 for a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut? I think if they could just drop there prices buy $1 I might be willing to go there more often. What's better than a hot dog and onion rings as a Saturday afternoon snack, but after paying $13 for just that I started to question my decision in getting take-out. That said the hot dogs, milkshakes and breakfast sandwiches are delicious I just wish they were a bit more affordable.

It's a hot dog... a very expensive hot dog
Save your money. These hot dogs are OK. Definitely not worth the money unless you need to spend a lot to feel like you're eating something gourmet. But, really, when it comes down to it, you're eating a hot dog.... consider yourself had, sucker. While we're at it, I'll throw a couple of dogs on my grill for you for only $8. I call them Frank's Franks, they are the best hot dogs you'll ever eat, and they interface with your new Mac... I swear.

Way too expensive, even by Park Slope standards
The food is all fine, not revelatory, but pretty good. The interior is cool and seating is plentiful at several communal tables. The prices are ridiculous though. Almost $15 for a hot dog with chili and slaw, fries and soda. Make it half that and I would gladly go back, otherwise it's doubtful.

Once bitten, twice shy
I'll have to admit to being a skeptical going in; however, I gave it a go. I was hoping to be won over but alas, not to be. The hot dog was good. I don't claim to be an expert or connoisseur - but it tasted good and the variety of topings made it easy to find something interesting. Fries were disappointing. Uninspired and not particularly memorable shoestrings. I don't konw what was going on with the cheese sauce, but it wasn't good. Chicken sandwich was unacceptable. Don't know what to say about it other than maybe I should have know better than to order chicken at a hotdog restaurant. It was unbelievably greasy and had so little chicken in it that you literally had to take the sandwich apart to see if there was any in there. The standout positive was $3 beers, hard to beat that. As a bonus the house special beer was pretty good. If you've been wondering about it, give it a go. Limit your order to hot dogs and beers. Bottomline - ok food if you stick to the basics, but everything on the menu other than beer is over-priced.
