Recommended
Despite the reviews before me, my friend swore by the greatness of this place so I came here with my wife, toddler, and said friend. Hostess, manager and waiter were all very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was casual with, for some reason, really great variety of tunes, while cartoons (Dexter Laboratory) played on the TV. Prices are not low, but the variety is awesome. I had a rare bison Burger and it was fantastic. My kid loved the fries, and my other peeps were full and happy as well. You can't NOT find something in this place - between the meat and bun options, condiments...it was a lot of thinking for a burger. Perhaps those who got delivery were less than satisfied, I recommend eating in and giving it a try. Probably the best place in the Slope for a real burger made your way.

Improved
Haven't been here in a while, but thought that the service & food improved on my last visit. Prices are still a little high (yeah, I know that artisanal soda is pricy, but really?)

what happened?
loved this place the first time - great burgers & fries, and excellent shake. Since then I've ordered delivery twice and both times were a disaster. Wrong order, cold food, argumentative person on the phone. Hope it can pull itself together because it has great potential to be a great burger spot.

Bad Food. Worse Service
Reluctantly tried bareburger again after a very poor first experience. The result was worse the second time around. Took over an hour to get half of our meals delivered. The other half took an additional 20 minutes. Never received an order of fries and no explanation was given. The waitress was nice enough. It seems something is seriously wrong in the back of the restaurant. Food was not hot and put together very slopily. Never going back there again.

Gone way downhill
We used to enjoy this restaurant a lot. Recently, we've noticed the food quality and service is in decline. Yesterday we ordered delivery from here, the food we received was a) not what we ordered and b) not cooked (as in raw). We called to complain and the person from bareburger blamed the problem on us (made no sense). After initially being very rude, he agreed to replace the food. An hour later one single burger arrived (we expected two). We hope they can turn things around, but for now, definitely not recommended.
