The kitchen at Barchetta isn't especially inventive, but they do prepare quality meals using very good ingredients, well-prepared. The service is close to impeccable. It can get a bit noisy, but it's still very tolerable. Beloved spouse got a whole fish, grilled well so that it remained moist inside. I got the Ravioli puttanesca--a small-ish portion, but very well done, very flavorful. Would recommend.

Tiny slices of raw fish ("crudo") are very expensive, and not much to eat. I'd skip that next time. Better to go to a good sushi place if I want that. The entree fish dishes, however, are a good size, and the ones we had were very good fish, although the orata was waaay too blackened on the outside, so that it all tasted of ash. Excellent service (mostly--one not so good man).
