Amazing space. Great food, Good service
Maybe the servers have read the reviews - my brunch service was excellent. My boyfriend had the grilled chicken sandwich which was one of the best I have ever had. I had some turkish egg/lamb dish which was VERY good. I even made special requests about my eggs and they were very accommodating and polite. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back!!

great even for a pre-dinner snack
The atmosphere in this place is superb, and it is only a few blocks from Union Square, which means it is both convenient and not so crowded. The appetizers/small plates menu is very enjoyable, and you can seat at one of the comfortable round tables by the bar and enjoy a snack with wine. Prices, however, are not at all in the low range.

Wonderful food, service is lacking
The food was incredible, especially the flat bread, the tera cota lamb and the bass. Wonderful and unique desserts. My friend had a champagne cocktail with strawberrys and I had a glass of israeli white wine, both were great. Service was a little slow, but the server was very nice and didn't try to push us stuff we didn't want.

Poor Brunch and Service
Went here for brunch yesterday. Ordered pancakes that were burned on the bottom and so dry I needed a knife to cut them. Server didn't even acknowledge that I wasn't eating. Never asked us how our meal was and never apologized when we asked to have the pancakes taken off the bill. The space is beautiful but way over priced. 5.50 for tiny pieces of over cooked bacon!?

Poor Service Experience
I had a wonderful experience the 1st time around - good slightly overpriced food, lively atmosphere, and good service. However, when I brought another friend here for dinner, we experienced poor service. We ordered a bottle of white wine, which they keep away from the table after each pour, probably to keep it cool. However, after only having 1 glass each, the waitress returned at the end of meal, put very little wine in each glass, and then the bottle was empty! So after less than 3 glasses, we finished the bottle?! Very sketchy. I had to point it out to her, noting that we certainly did not finish that bottle ourselves. She argued with me about it, was very put out, and begrudgingly offered us each a "free" glass of wine. Of course this was their house wine and not what we ordered. It's my fault for not bringing over a manager, but really the whole experience was off putting and I will never go back there again. To make such a mistake, to either intentionally or unintentionally serve our wine to someone else, and then to argue with me about it and offer a lame substitute overrides any of their nicer qualities.

great food- great ambience
i loved this place! VERY fresh ingrediants- the best feta i ever had. great humus, great bar etc. I would definitely come back. Service was a little lacking, but as long as the food is good- I am happy!

Beautiful restaurant- good food
We stumbled upon this restaurant last night. We were not very hungry and ordered only appetizers. The manager sent us complimentary champagne- for no reason. The restaurant is beautiful with very cool bathrooms. The saganaki was the best we've had since Greece. A lamg appetizer on bread was slighly burnt and the shrimp kefides did not have much taste. Those around us however raved about their main courses. I would go back to give it another try- the service and ambience are definitely worth another visit.
