My friend and I just went for some wine and appetizers after work. After the bartender kept refilling our glasses without asking us, we were thrilled. We then ordered the hummus and pita plate. Food. super average. She brought us extra bread, we said sure. She wound up charging us for everything, even though we did not ask for it. What a rip! I recommend Gus' Place on Bleeker, much better value.

Went here with my boyfriend on a late Tuesday night for dessert, and we were impressed with the space, the decor and the general feel of grandeur inside the restaurant. We got two desserts and two turkish coffees which amounted to $40 (tip included). That's a bit too much for dessert, however the desserts were very creative the phyllo/sweetgoatcheese/kadayif dessert with strawberrry icecream, and the other halvasi dessert which were both very rich and very tasty, and brought flavors of home to my boyfriend and I. Service was very attentive, our waiter didn't hold off on suggesting the desserts he held favorite, and we followed his suggestion to our not getting dissappointed at ALL. It's a GREAT place for a date (on the fancy($) side, but so worth it). I want to go back to try their dinner menu, as it looks scrumptuous. Need to mention, the place GREAT for parties. They had one while we were savoring our desserts, and they seemed to be having a LOT of fun, with an awesome table right by the window.

Went here with a date on Friday night it was full but not overcrowded. The service was attentive and friendly. Both of us loved our meals - the terra cotta lamb was excellent along with the lump crab starter. We would definitely go back again reservations are definitely a must though.

Maybe the servers have read the reviews - my brunch service was excellent. My boyfriend had the grilled chicken sandwich which was one of the best I have ever had. I had some turkish egg/lamb dish which was VERY good. I even made special requests about my eggs and they were very accommodating and polite. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back!!

The atmosphere in this place is superb, and it is only a few blocks from Union Square, which means it is both convenient and not so crowded. The appetizers/small plates menu is very enjoyable, and you can seat at one of the comfortable round tables by the bar and enjoy a snack with wine. Prices, however, are not at all in the low range.

The food was incredible, especially the flat bread, the tera cota lamb and the bass. Wonderful and unique desserts. My friend had a champagne cocktail with strawberrys and I had a glass of israeli white wine, both were great. Service was a little slow, but the server was very nice and didn't try to push us stuff we didn't want.

Went here for brunch yesterday. Ordered pancakes that were burned on the bottom and so dry I needed a knife to cut them. Server didn't even acknowledge that I wasn't eating. Never asked us how our meal was and never apologized when we asked to have the pancakes taken off the bill. The space is beautiful but way over priced. 5.50 for tiny pieces of over cooked bacon!?
