    ::COOL Place:::

    A friend and i went to dinner on a friday night , a last minute thing and they acoomodated us right away. The only thing that i did not like was the seating( most of the seats where close together), but other then that it was a beautiful place! I ordered the lemon-rosemarry chicken ( the portion was a LOT) and my friend ordered the crispy red snapper which she loved. Its a little pricey, but thats to be expected of this type of venue. Enjoy! :)

    Great Atmostphere, Long wait

    The place has a great atmosphere, however they kept us waiting for at least an hour for our table. The food was good, pricey.

    Best french toast in NYC!

    My friend and i have been back 3 weekends in a row for their amazing brunch! we were just walking in the neighborhood and decided to check it out. my BF had their egg dishes--really delicious baked eggs. one time he ordered a brunch special which consisted of layers of poached eggs, prosciutto, a delicious tomoato sauce on croissant. i am very picky about my french toast but theirs is to die for! they are thick and come out custardy after baking and are served with raisins, pistachios, and cardommon in maple syrup. the portions are big--my BF and i usually share our dishes--perfect because we get one savory egg dish and le pain perdu becomes our dessert. the service is good, the decor is relaxing. they make a good bloody mary. can't wait to try dinner there! and delicious turkish coffee.

    Can't wait to go back!

    Barbounia was fantastic. I went with my boyfriend after just walking by the place and we weren't disappointed. The food was terrific and there were so many things on the menu that looked good, I can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend Barbounia.

    What a cool place

    My mother visited me last month and we went to Barbounia twice, once for dinner and once to check out brunch. We clearly were blown away by dinner, to go back a second time in one weekend. The food was GREAT. I don't reccomend the bacon though, for brunch, unless you want a plate with half a pig on it. Seriously though, the lamb was tender, the cheese was fresh, the eggs were unique, a really great addition to the neighborhood. Not to mention the bathrooms are hands down the coolest I have ever seen. Great work designers!
