GO!
I have been to Barbarini at least 5 times and have never been disappointed,the food is excellent. I am not to quick to give out good reviews but this place is great. If you are in the area stop in.

Don't get the fuss!
Went in with great expectations - left greatly disappointed. Ordered a bottle of wine - temperature was close to a boiling point, surprised how it was still drinlable. We ordered whole branzino and a leg of lamb from the specials menu, food arrived in 40 minutes, the fish was of unknown origin - a cheap substitude, definately not branzino, lamb looked and tasted more like beef, overcooked potatoes, mushy vegies. Bad food badly prepared by a bad cook. Now I know why these were on the special. This place might be good for pastas, but for everything else, especially the "specials" stay away!

Great Delivery
In a city were delivery is key these guys pull it off right. Their food is great and still great when it arrives.

Favorite Italian place
It's always a pick me up to have dinner here. I usually get the pastas which are consistently delicious. They have often have a wonderful black linguine special with lobster, which is a particular favorite. Service is warm and it's a great find especially in an area dominated by touristy restaurants.

Very impressed
I am picky when it comes to pasta. This place is one of the best Italian restaurant with the cost performance. The quality compared to the prices is really high. They can charge us more! My lobster pasta was fantastic. Their sandwiches are great too. I can enjoy each single menu.

Fantastic
I order from here about two to three times a week and its excellent every time. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, the dishes the perfect size, and their weekly specials are unique (and tasty!) for a restaurant in this area. If you want great food in the Financial District then visit Barbarini Alimentari.

excellent!
Were skeptical when read the perfect reviews... however, couldn't be more wrong. The food arrived so quickly, still hot, very fresh ingredients, everything was superb. For the two of us: two pastas, two appetizers, two desserts - $63!!! Super generous sized portions I have to add. LOVED it. Will be ordering and will be telling all of our friends. Would like to visit too! Thank you so much, this was a perfect evening in of great Italian and a movie.
