    Highly Recommended

    We went there for lunch and it was delicious. The grilled cheese, BLT, and chowder were great, and we really enjoyed the bacon platter and desserts! Our waiter was so nice and attentive and the food came out in record speed! The tables by the window were great for people watching, we can't wait to go back.

    Good food, bad customer service

    Let me begin by saying the food is good (if you like bacon) and the happy hour is very reasonable. I feel like the portions are somewhat small for the price. The thing I thought was terrible about Bacon Bar was the customer service (although they did fix things.) I called and asked for a reservation for 6 for a Thursday night. I was told they don’t take reservations for a party that small. I asked if I come in an hour earlier would we be able to sit together. I was told it should not be a problem ( I should have known better for a Thursday night.) When I got there the two hostesses told me they were very busy and could not accommodate my group. They were not apologetic and acted like they were a big favor. In the meantime I have five people showing up. There was no place to sit at the bar. I asked a waiter if he could point out the manger and a young women came over. She didn’t seem very concerned until I mentioned I was going to write a review on yelp. After a while a second manager can over. Again, I told her that I was upset about the misinformation I received over the phone. She said they do take reservations and I was given incorrect information in fact my friend pointed out tables for two had reserved signs on them. The second manager found a two top for my friend and myself and got us a round of drinks which was very nice. She told me when some guests finished she could push some tables together to accommodate our group. This worked out perfectly. I don’t know why I wasn’t told that from the beginning and it would have relieved a lot of grief on my part. This restaurant needs to train their staff better. Gladly, I’m not big on bacon so I won’t be back.
