This restaurant is really amazing. I have been there several times and I have never been let down. The paninis are delicious, the pizza is great and the vibe is warm and cozy! Also, the prices are very reasonable!

When you walk into the bar you really have a feeling of a friendly bistro. In Bar Toto everyone knows each other from the neighborhood, it's the perfect place to meet friends, have a something to eat and hang. The waitstaff, however, like to hang as well. That's unfortunate since the food is not so-o-o-o bad. We went there for brunch and ordered the frittata- mine was overcooked. Browned eggs are not culinary delicacy. Mine was ordered with cheese and there was not enough of it. We also had two baked eggs served on grilled flat bread with prosciutto, loads of fontina & fresh basil or eggs di parma - that was quite good and the eggs were perfectly done. It came with, as did all the dishes, with great shoestring fries and garlic grilled flat bread. That alone I could have sat with for a few hours. It is the type of place you want to stay for a few hours and languish over your beer and coffee. I wish the service was better but now that I think of it - if it were we really would not be able to stay as long as we like. i walked into bar toto on my way home from my then boyfriends house. i was just dumped and feeling horrible. i sat at the bar and ordered a martini that was mixed PERFECTLY and ordered some fries. the man behind the bar was mild mannered and polite, but energetic and very well spoken. we got to talking (after my 2nd martini) and he really made me feel better. the fries were amazing too! as far as resturants in BK go, i think this is one of the best experiences i've had in years. i'm going there with friends tomorrow!!

I have always found the service here to be above par. Over the years, I have tried everything on the menu, and I mean everything. Only once in three years was I disappointed. I do go through phases when I get hooked on one menu item though. Lately, I've been eating their big green salad with grilled shrimp on it about once a week. You get a lot of perfectly grilled shrimp on this delectable green salad. For dessert, I've been having the best tiramisu there is. Their coffee is even delicious. I give this restaurant the highest ratings available because they deserve it. The owners probably know me by now because I come in a lot. I'm a little shy and I keep the small talk to a minimum. They smile and say hello, but I'm only there for one thing: the high quality Southern Italian food. However, the superb service by some of the finest waiters I've ever seen, and the relaxing environment also keep me coming back to this place time and time again.

Is this slow service or what? I waited for so long for my food I forgot what I ordered. It's a fun place though - good for late night food. One of the only in the area that serves late. Great place to meet friends and go somewhere else to eat. Atmosphere is nice, there is an outdoor cafe that's always packed and kid-friendly.

This is a very pretty little Good spot and one of the few places on 6th ave. They serve food late, so it is a good spot to stop in if you happen to want a late night snack.
