    Agree with Below

This is for those of us that are "in" with this crowd. I always find something decent to eat but I don't think the owners even care about the food so much as getting the crowd they are comfortable with. If you don't think this is you then don't even bother going. If you are a prep school alum and have a blazer, then go for it - you will have a blast!

    Boarding School!

I love it here - it is a boarding school or college reunion every time. I think the food is OK, but you really go to see old friends from Trinity College or plan your next vacation with high school buddies. People who complain are expecting too much - just get a drink at the busy bar and relax!

Not the worst, but not worth it

The food was hit and miss. Some of it was really good, some was poorly cooked/not well favored. The people were friendly, but service was definetly abrupt, they were eager to turn over the tables so we definetly felt very rushed. The prices were a little high for the quality of food. Seemed as though they thought hiking the prices would convey quality. The drinks were definitly watered down, I would just go for wine or champagne. One disturbing thing...all liquor bottles had their labels removed. Smoking is also allowed downstairs.

    Weird

When I walked in with my gf I thought jackets were required. Turns out that is just the unspoken dress code of the prep privileged and the wannabees. We had a cool server and the bill wasn't bad but the food was pretty blah and the crowd was very self-righteous.

Great, if you're in the right crowd

Let's face it, the food is so-so, the booths aren't that comfortable, but that isn't why you came to 'nettis. You come because you went to prep school, you know how to make a dark and stormy and you want to have a meal in a place with a great vibe and a room that is probably filled with people you prepped with, went to college with or will be sharing cocktails with at Bella's later that night. If that's not your scene, and you don't fit in you probably won't like it.

    Great Meal

Overall a great meal and experience. The mac & cheese was fantastic as was the cookie ice cream sandwich dessert, I would reco both. The waiter was excellent, attentive and was very understanding/concerned of nut allergies.
