Best new restaurant in Brooklyn
Love this place. Very casual vibe. Wine is all $7.5 a glass, bottles $29. All the food is under $20 and delicious. The space is beautiful. Great neighborhood restaurant, but sometimes it is hard to get a table.

Fairly Sizable Disappointment
Bar Corvo has a lot to live up to as Al Di La is the gold standard in Brooklyn Italian Restaurants. Sadly, they really missed the mark. The food was hit and miss. My gf's pork chop was very good, but my pasta was a joke. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar. The service was only ok. They seemed very understaffed. The backyard was full (15-20 people) and only one server. And when the busboy brought out our entre's, he couldn't tell which dish was which. The tab for 3 was over $60 pp and for that price we expected much more. The owner of Al Di La really needs to spend time there whipping this place into shape.

Mixed Feelings
My boyfriend and I have been here 3 times now. We were both happy the first time, he was only happy the 2nd and I was only happy the 3rd. If it weren't for the chocolate bread pudding dessert, there would be no reason for us to go back. We were both happier with their Winter menu, which things we liked were removed when then changed to the summer menu. The food is tasty but we're spending over $100 for appetizer, entre and dessert and we've left hungry every time. I got a grilled fish last time and it didn't come with anything else on the the plate, just a fish.

poor service
The food was ok, but nothing great, and was overpriced - $8.00 for a tiny salad - so small that ny dinner companion thought they had slit the salad between the 2 of us (they had not) and the choice of entrees was extremely limited. Add to that the sevice was less than friendly and sometimes bordered on rude. in all I would give the restaurant a 2.5

New favorite New-American neighborhood restaurant!
I went here a few days ago because I knew that Teddy's been gone for a while, and wanted to try out it's replacement! WOW was I beyond impressed. Not only were my fiance and I greeted and seated right away (major plus), but the waitress was really on top of EVERYTHING. Very quick, efficient, always checking on us while eating and gave us an all around excellent experience. In pertains to the food, I ordered the duck leg entree (A+++). I can say that when I usually order duck, it comes sliced. However, they way they prepared it was just unbelievable-right off the bone. Moist, with a tasty perfectly timed crust, and left me salivating for more! Not only that, but the sides were so tasty and filling. If you want a large and delectable portion, come to this spot! Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Perfection~
