Nice wine bar, a couple of strange facets
I went to Bar Chevere for dinner recently with two friends and thought it was generally nice but a little odd. Most notably, the decision to have a woman singing in the corner in such a small establishment felt forced and was a distraction from our meal and drinks. It took away from what what would have been a nice ambiance. My two friends' food was excellent, mine was just O.K.

Great new neighborhood spot
This place has become my new favorite neighborhood 'go-to' spot. They have an extensive and very reasonable wine list and the food is super tasty. I would describe the atmosphere as cozy-chic and the staff is very helpful and not at all pretentious (unlike some if these new LES places that have been opening). they have some sidewalk tables which is a nice place to sit and people watch while sipping on some sangria or Spanish sparkling wine (my 2 favorites off the wine list). I definitely recommend BC!
