    poor service

There was no one in this restaurant/lounge on the first warm night of the year. You would have thought we would have been treated well. Guess the staff wanted to go outside too because clearly they wanted nothing to do with this restaurant.

sexy cave reminds me of buenos aires

The last time I was in a space like this was when I was in buenos aires, in the soho area, and went to a place called bar 6. bar celona's doors, like bar 6's, are tall and black and secretive. i didn't know what to expect of this place, but i went to have a drink and some tapas. the food was pretty tasty - i had the squid ink paella and the morcilla tostones, but the real talking point is the drinks. this isn't going to cater to the typical williamsburg hipster crowd as it's actually probably too cool for them (and too expensive - haha). but if you want to have some seriously good drinks, i absolutely recommend this place. drinks run between 10 and 12 bucks, but they are tasty. if you dig places like huckelberry on grand, hotel delmano in williamsburg, death and co in the east village or apotheke in chinatown, you'll dig the sexy atmosphere and the damn good drinks. i had the beet-jalapeno infusion with gin and ginger liquor and the classic american triology (not on the menu, but the best). loved both. will definitely be back.
