Love this place
I came with a friend on a Saturday night around 7 pm. We were greeted and seated immediately by Enco who also took our orders. He was incredibly helpful when my friend asked questions about the wine list and some of the dinner selections. I had the grilled shrimp tacos and shishito peppers. Both were wonderful. My friend had a duck dish and was really pleased. Enco and the others were so nice and I loved the vibe and food. I will definitely be back.

Great little place
Very pleasant bar/bistro serving good tasty food. Service at both the bar and the tables was efficient and attentive. We spent a very enjoyable Sunday evening here

Awesome find
I never write reviews, but was inclined to after my first experience here. We ordered delivery and the gentleman I spoke to and the one who delivered my food could not have been nicer. The food arrived quickly and exceeded expectations. I opened the bag to find a hot bag of fresh tortilla chips with an awesome homemade charred salsa. I ordered the DLT and it was awesome! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I can't wait to order from here again soon!

very good
not sure why anyone would complain about this restaurant. The food is good, the service is good and the place is cool. They are one of the few places that delivers too. I wish we had more places like this in CHill.

Great addition to neighborhood
Finally, a good neighborhood restaurant not on smith or court that isn't an italian restaurant and thankfully isn't another attempt at a bagel place in that location. and they deliver!

A welcome addition to the 'hood
Bf and I really enjoy Bar Bruno and come quite often. I read online the owner has a lot to do with Cafe Habana, one of my old favorite trendy little eateries while I lived in Manhattan. This originally made me want to try out Bar Bruno, and the food and service didn't disappoint.

Great local spot for food but NOT drinks
I have now been to Bar Bruno twice and both times was impressed with my meal and the decor and atmosphere at this new local joint. Unfortunately, the drinks both times were too small and much too weak. A $10 drink at a neighborhood-y place in Carroll Gardens isn't too much to pay, but when the martini glass is only half full or the highball glass is overflowing with ice and barely one ounce of booze then it is a rip off. Add to that the snobbish hipster servers and barstaff and it creates an unpleasant, unwelcoming experience. Waiting 15 minutes for a mediocre overpriced drink to be poured is ridiculous. And if I wanted attitude from people who are too cool for school when I order, I would go to Williamsburg.
