    Dinner for 5

    After my daughter and her friends raved about their experience a week ago, I visited the restaurant pre-theatre on April 27 with 4 of my very critical girlfriends. We unanimously gave the restaurant a thumbs up rating. We all loved our various appetizer salads and dinners of hanger steak, skate, snapper, and salmon all past the test. Our side dishes of potato chips with blue cheese and sauteed spinach were the perfect choices. We shared the souffle dessert, which was ordered early and had no problem finishing up in time for curtain call. I can't wait to return with my husband so he can share some of Bobby's goodness!

    Viva Americain

    I had dinner last night and considering that the restaurant has only been open for a week, I thought everything from the food to the decor to the service was outstanding. It was a pleasure to see Bobby Flay in person and also to see him working so hard in the kitchen. The seafood cocktail sampler was not only beautiful to look at but delicious...each cocktail totally different from the other and each bursting with a combination of interesting flavors and textures. Coming in a close second (in the appetizer category) was the crispy squash blossoms with pulled pork and black pepper vinaigrette. I loved the desserts too...The upside-down chocolate pie is an interesting play on the classic chocolate cream pie and the carrot-pineapple cake is truly an amazing thing to behold and eat....I will definitely be back...

    Good Start

    They are only a week in... food was good, and you coud tell it might be great once they iron out all the kinks. Great menu... Appetizer was shrimp with bacon and garlic grits, tasty, but too small for this type of cuisine/clientele. Steak for an entree, very tasty, if not a little dry, carrot cake for dessert was again good. I think once they get the kinks out, they'll be hitting on all cylinders. Bobby Flay was there trying his best to get all in order.... Service was outstanding... absolutely no attitude from any of the staff, a refreshing change for NYC.
