Yes!
Have now managed to try the original, catfish, bbq chicken and sloppy bao bahn mi sandwiches here and all are excellent and a good deal. Very tasty and fresh ingredients skillfully integrated into a soft yet substantial baguette. Both this location and the Christopher Street branch are top-knotch (but has to make me wonder why the heck the St. Mark's branch isn't!?)

Oh yes
This place is awesome. The sloppy bao is unstoppable. I've tried it hot and medium. Hot hot really kicked my butt, but in a good way. Delicious bread. Good prices.

Good Lunch Spot, Will Definitely Be Back
I've only had the opportunity to try the regular Baoguette sandwich and it was super tasty! My husband also enjoyed his Sloppy Bao. The bread was very fresh, as were the vegetables. Everything is priced very fairly as well. Service was quick for those in a rush!

'BAO' Down
I had been waiting for a bit now to get down to Baoguette and had the chance today. Could not be happier for starters the price is unbeatable 5 bucks for the pork and bbq chicken sandwich. Roll had a nice crunch and really chewy inside, I like heat so I got mine spicy and there was plenty of punch no need for sriacha. The terrine was nice and creamy and the pork had a nice bite. Fresh vegetables on both give a nice and crisp addition. BBQ chicken was sweet and spicy and the daikon is a nice touch. This place rocks, if you like Vietnamese you should definitely try Baogutte's upscale restaurant BarBao on the UWS. Great Pho and other treats.

excellent sandwich, poor run delivery
ok, the food is great, no doubt. I first time tried the delivery last month, they only accepted the delivery orders via text message. So I text my order, waited for almost 1 hour, then I called (only the answering machine picks up) left a message if they got my orders, then they text me back just said "ok". 30 min later the order came. The second time I text again. Waited also 1 hour, nothing, so I called, then it said their phone number has been changed, and no more text message orders. I had to start over ordering online. The 3rd time I ordered online. Waited again 1 hour and I called, someone picked up, I said "I ordered online 1 hour ago, what's going on" so the guy checked the order and said "Sorry, it will be in 10 min", and never came. I gave up and had to cook something home. You are lucky if your order comes no problem.

What a Sandwich!
I'm almost inclined not to even write a review to prevent hordes of people descending upon this restaurant. However, at the risk of that, I have to say that Baoguette offers some of the best sandwiches in the city (at least based on the one that I tried). The bread is super fresh and the flavors of the sandwich explode in your mouth.

first timer for Viet sandwiches!
I had been recently discovered what Vietnamese sandwiches were but hadn't tried one. Too lazy to go down to Chinatown I ordered take-out from Baoguette. Their method of ordering was kind of strange, you do it via text. I ordered 2 sandwiches the original Baoguette and the BBQ Chicken and they were both delicious but the original sandwich definitely won hands down. There was some sort of sauce (maybe the garlic aioli) even though it wasn't described to have any. The bread was AMAZING, so fresh, had a great crust and was soft inside. They delivered very quickly and I'm going to have a hard time not ordering here everyday for such a bargain sandwich.
