Terrific Overall
Can't say enough good things about Bann where we enjoyed a lovely meal, very gracious service and all at a reasonable price in a very appealing setting. I would totally recommend Bann to others and look forward to my next meal there.

awesome
went to bann late afternoon on a sunday w/husband & a friend who had worked in korea and was a big foodie. we were in heaven. our server was extremely polite, helpful & attentive. we stuck with the cold/hot appetizer menu as we were not starving. 1st...it's a beautifully laid out space. 2nd...the music was not intrusive ( a big pet peeve of mine) 3rd...the food was amazing. the presentation was delightful. i have lived in hell's kitchen for 40 years. this was one of the most amazing meals i have ever had. and my friend totally agreed. we were there at a down time; i work in the building that houses bann on thursdays so i know it can get crowded, especially pre-theatre. the food is "pricey" but what does that really mean? for us: $137 for 3 people including alcohol & tip. i'll be back,

Love it
I frequent Bann's bar for their great happy hour drinks - the food's a little above my weeknight budget, but dined for the first time last night pre-theatre. It was great. Ordered Dae Ji, which I was surprised to enjoy cooking - I never thought I'd like cooking my own food at a restaurant. Great kimchi and spice to wrap in some lettuce. And kept it traditional w/Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap - which was awesomely crispy and flavorful, with just the right sticky consistency. Between the two of us, we were beyond stuffed and left a good amount behind. The food's a little bit pricey for a casual weekday, but the portions are plentiful that it's well worth it. The two of us would've been fine splitting an app and one entree.

Not worth it
While the food is okay quality, the price is way too high and, in fact, you don't even get rice when you order a $28 meat dish! Go to k-town, it's better value and better quality!

An unexpected treat
We just happened on this restaurant as we were late for our show, The Million Dollar Quartet, and this restaurant was next door. What a pleasant surprise! We told the manager that we only had 40 minutes and they served up some of the most delicious food we've ever had in that short time. The black cod is exceptional...we're still talking about it! The waiter could not have been more accomodating and the ambiance was relaxing and beautiful...can't wait for a eturn visit!

Great food, great service
I had the pleasure of dining here in May. I went alone for lunch and ate in the bar. The lunchbox special was really good and a great value at $15. The bartender served me a complimentary lychee martini which was oh-so-good. Love this place. Would recommend it to anyone who wants exceptional Korean food at a reasonable price.

Very good!
I went to Baan for Valentine's Day, we had their pre fixed menu and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp dumplings were pleasantly crispy and served with a sauce that had a nice kick . The cod was delicate and great with the 5 grain jasmine rice. The service was top notch and the restaurant feels cozy even though it is quite large. Overall a great experience!
