    Take My Order, Carefully

Banh Mi at its most authentic, most of the time bursting with freshness. Roast pork showing signs of neglect by preparers. AND please get some English-fluent staff.

    Delicious and cheap!

They've always been one of my favorite Vietnamese sandwich places in the city, blowing away the competition while holding at least even on flavor. For $3.75, you get an enormous sandwich full of all kinds of delicious stuff. I recommend ordering it spicy. The biggest drawback was that they were carry out only with nowhere to sit, but now they've improved on this with a new location around the corner from their old location, with counters and shiny new cash registers and LCD screens.

    The Best

I had my first viet sandwich here. Ive tried other but nothing compares to their bread and pork. They bake their own bread in the morning so it taste best first thing in the morning. So delicious! all their sandwiches are so delicious and i love their new location.

    Eh, there is much better

Not bad, not great. There are much better Banh Mi in NYC. The bread was a little stale, the cilantro stem was the size of a broccoli stem, the cucumber was a bit mushy and the pork tasty. I would skip it and go get some of the better ones available.

    A lot for Less!

My first Bahn Mi Sandwich came from a cart and that was delicious... when I came to this place, not only was this bulkier, it was cheaper! This certainly beats a Subway footlong sandwich! Service might be a bit slow during lunch...but it's worth the wait. The only downside is that, it's like takeout, and there are no tables...just benches. But it's my fave place so far.

    Best sandwich deal in NYC!

A delicious foot-long Vietnamese sandwich for $3.75! I do believe this is the best sandwich deal in NYC, or in Manhattan at any rate. So tasty. So cheap. What more can you ask for? This will definitely become one of my regular places for a meal. There's not really much of a place to sit and eat it, but then again if there was, it would probably be more expensive, so I'm not complaining. Call and order ahead, especially if you are coming after lunch time. When you do so, be aware that they don't speak very much English. When he asked me "spicy?" I first tried to order medium spiciness, but he didn't understand, so I just ordered spicy, which turned out to be fine. They are officially open til 7PM, but the first time I came, I came at 6:30, and they had sold out all their sandwiches already. So the next time, I ordered ahead by phone at 5, and they had my sandwich waiting for me at 6:30. Also, be aware that they're closed on Mondays.
