Food is pretty good but dishes are mostly rice. U have to actually look for chicken or steak after 4 small pieces

I live close to the Bangkok Thai House restaurant. For over 10 years my friends and I have been devoted customers. We have been to many Thai restaurants in the city, trying two dishes in particular which are exceptional at the Bangkok. We wanted to see if anyone could surpass them. They have not. I feel like I am describing a scene from a vintage movie, writing about an old favorite neighborhood fixture. There is nothing fancy about this little treasure. What you will find is a clean, softly lit humble restaurant with staff wanting to please and they do that well. In this mix is a charming elderly gentleman who has been there since it opened in 1994. If he were not, the customers, including us, would miss him very much. The two exceptional dishes we are addicted to (no doubt there are many more, listening to other patrons who clearly are pleased) that we are addicted to. They are Paning curry, a classic but like none other. That dish comprises lime leaves, bell peppers, string beans and peanuts cooked in Panang coconut curry sauce. It is vegetarian. The other is red hot chili pasta (Kee Mao) rice noodles sautéed with basil in Thai chili sauce. The dishes are made to order, chicken, meat or fish can be added and the heat level is whatever you want. The delicate seasonings/sauces are exceptional. If you are in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, a visit to this restaurant is a must.

I like the food and the atmostphere. The service can b a little slow but it sort of fits the laid back atmostphere

The curry puffs were dried out, like they had been frozen and plopped in to a fryer and then brought to me. The Pad Thai was super greasy, and I was the only customer and the waiter AND my food took forever! I eat Thai all over New York City, and this is a poor excuse.

I adored the mango chicken with extra sauce, so instead of extra sauce, I got water to stretch it. Furthermore the sauce doesnt even taste good! The waiter was rude too!! I will never eat here again! Save your hard earned money to go elsewhere. This is a recession people!

I love this place!!! I've been here several times and always have a great experience. It is comprised of two employees: a waiter and a cook who are both so friendly! It feels like you stepped into a small restaurant in Bangkok. The curries are especially good, and the service is great! Definitely take time out to visit this little gem.

The food here is delicious! My friends recommended this place to me and I'm hooked. My favorite is the curries, and they make them as spicy as you want, cool the spice with a Thai ice tea & Don't forget to try the pumpkin custard too!
