    What a bargain

We had lunch at Bangkok House on 46th street. We were able to pick 3 out of 5 appetizers and a main dish for only 7 dollars per person. Cheaper if you get a cheaper meat we got shrimp. I couldn't believe the price and the food was good. My only complaint was that the shrimp was overcooked. I had the green curry and my husband had Pad Thai and both were delicious. Perfect place for lunch before a Broadway show.

    Not recommended

I just finished the Pad See Euw. It was pretty bland and overall disappointing. My coworkers had the pad thai, Pad See Eu and the Basil fried rice and they said the same thing. The "crepes" were 2 little wonton looking things. TINY! I had to call the restaurant twice to get them to confirm the Seamless order. Also, the spend $15 for a free soda is a complete hoax! the woman told me it was for dinner only but she would do it for us this time. gee thanks. If i spend $15 at dinner or $15 at lunch why should it matter? She sent 1 regular coke for a $60 order. (I asked for Diet)

    Too Much, Too Soon--Slow Down

While the food, value and service were very good, it seemed like a fast food restaurant. They have a great four-course lunch for $6.95. There are quite a few main course choices. (If you make a reservation on their website you get a ten percent discount.) Unfortunately all four courses were brought to the table at the same time. Another patron told us that you have to tell them ahead of time that you want one course at a time. By the time we got that information it was too late. The place has potential.

    Great value, great food

Set down from the street, the atmosphere is better than other Thai restaurants in the area. I had the early bird for $10.95, soup, salad, entree served M-F 4-6 and week-ends from 10:30-4. Excellent pad thai. They have good drink specials; 3 beers for $10, or free appetizer with drink. Will definitely go again.

    Awesome Food and Service!

I love this place so much! I had pre theater prix fixe for only $15.95 for soup, salad, appetizer, main course and dessert. Pad Thai is excellent.Plus, they have Happy Hour; $5 cocktail. I had Lycheetini! It's very good deal. I don't think No one can beat them. I will come back to try their Lunch. Only $6.95 Maincouse come with Choose 3 of 5 ;soup, salad, appetizer, drink, ice cream. I plan to bring my gal to this place. Also, I love the girls' outfit. They cute & tradition Thai. They're very friendly and nice.

    Salty!

I have been there twice. I should have learned the first time when I ordered the Basil Noodle and could hardly eat the dish it was sooo salty. I thought for sure it was just a fluke and went back a second time to order the same dish. Sure enough, just as salty! I actually sent it back and asked for no salt, however, they brought it back just as salty. My mouth was numb. The service was fine considering I needed my water glass filled two dozen times. I have been to nearly every Thai restaurant in Hell's Kitchen and have never been so disappointed with a meal.
