My boyfriend & I have been here twice now, and are very happy. We hope they get their liquor license soon, but in the meantime, the Thai iced tea is great (although a bit expensive if you're REALLY thirsty!). We shared the appetizer sampler and an entree and that was plenty, though we're not huge-portion eaters. All of the staff are very friendly, and even let us bring our medium-sized dog to sit in the outdoor area with us. The only problem I have had was that on a really hot day the bathroom was STIFLING -- the lights were out and they'd lit it with candles, which would be nice for ambiance in winter, but just added to the misery on those 100 degree days. Have not had delivery, but will try that soon. Service in-house was fast, but I did notice a lot of people waiting around for their take-out.

My partner and I have been here twice now and have not been disappointed yet. We are both vegetarians and are so glad that this place says they can make anything on the menu vegetarian. The server was even sensitive enough to ask if egg was OK for us (it is) and added "no fish sauce" as a comment which means to me that if you're vegan, you might be in luck. From the Thai iced tea, to the chive pancakes and Thai salad (large enough to easily share and peanut dressing excellent), to the yellow curry and pad woon sen, everything was very tasty and very well portioned. We would definitely recommend this place to other vegetarians.

Ordered a lunch special and portions were incredibly small. They also forgot my soup, and when they came back with the soup there was litterally one piece of potato, a little soup and a piece of carrot in it. The idea that they portion their lunches so small, and are even stingy with soup is odd to me. I mean it's soup. Come on. Other than that, food was fine, but was left with so little food (for $16 after tip!!!) that I was still hungry after all was done..... So very overpriced, mixed delivery service and small portions.

I ordered noodles, salad, and an appetizer. The service was polite and they delivered to me down in the 160's. Everything tasted great, but the portions were pretty small, and it's not like rice noodles cost a lot to make, so that was definitely overpriced. I've never been in the restaurant, so I gave atmosphere a middle score. I would order from them again since they are the best Thai up in Washington Heights.

I'm shocked at some of the other reviews. We really enjoyed our Bangkok Heights delivery! The Tom Kha soup was great - very flavorful and refreshing. I had Pad Woon Sen and loved it. It was perhaps a smidge oily but it IS stir-fried noodles... D.H. had red curry, extra spicy and boy was it ever! Flavor again was wonderful. Finished off with sticky rice with mango - mangoes were perfectly ripe and rice was very good but just a little drier than I prefer. We got delivery so can't speak for the atmosphere. Delivery person and order taker were both very polite and helpful. Thank you Bangkok Heights!!!

I went to this restaurant once, and had a pleasant experience. The food was very good. I had something basic (House Fried Rice with Tofu), and my friend had Noodles with Shrimp. She really liked her food as well. Their Thai Iced Tea and Chicken Satay is great! The atmosphere is nice. The only thing I'd say is that I wish their seating was set up a little differently. It was as if we were sitting right next to the couple beside us. I've also ordered delivery from them, and they are pretty good with the timing. No complaints.

I don't know why this place has been getting such low reviews. My wife and I have gone 5 times and each time the service and (more importantly) the food was fantastic! I especially liked the curries. I like my food spicy, and they make it traditional and spicy when you ask for it (and didn't assume I meant "western spicy"). We love you Bangkok Heights!
