I have now been to BH a dozen times, and I have to say that despite a rocky beginning, it has really come into its own. The service is consistently good and fast, and the food itself has gotten even better over the summer. Sadly they have applied for a liquor license. so hurry over before they end their fantastic BYO policy!

There's numerous places in the city with better Thai, but this is the only Thai place this far Uptown. Food is acceptable. Delivery times good. I would order from here more, but they apply their $15 delivery minimum during lunch special hours. It defeats the purpose of getting a lunch special (ie cheap) if I need to spend $15.

Just recieved my take-out order of house pork fried rice and Jungle Curry, and both dishes were disappointing. We tossed it out and ordered in a new meal from elsewhere. The jungle curry was assorted vegetables that looked like they had been boiled in this thin, dish water like sauce they came served in. The vegetables were grey and lifeless, and there was no curry flavor at all. The fried rice was gummy and goopy, with more grey vegies and no flavor.

Good Thai option for the WaHi area. But too often I call for take out and can't get through, and I repeatedly get a message that the user has not set up their voicemail box!! This restaurant needs to set up their phones so they at least answer and put you on hold- I called over and over tonight and finally gave up and ordered from another restaurant, which is a shame. I hope they fix this.

This place is great and a really goid value! We had a Pad Thai with shrimp and Panang Curry with mock duck last night. Both were yummy! Best of all, they served our dinners piping hot in under 10 minutes!!! Fast, fresh, and delicious! Attentive service. Nothing to write home about in terms of decor, but cute enough. Will be a new "go to" spot for us after walks thru Ft Tyron!

My boyfriend & I have been here twice now, and are very happy. We hope they get their liquor license soon, but in the meantime, the Thai iced tea is great (although a bit expensive if you're REALLY thirsty!). We shared the appetizer sampler and an entree and that was plenty, though we're not huge-portion eaters. All of the staff are very friendly, and even let us bring our medium-sized dog to sit in the outdoor area with us. The only problem I have had was that on a really hot day the bathroom was STIFLING -- the lights were out and they'd lit it with candles, which would be nice for ambiance in winter, but just added to the misery on those 100 degree days. Have not had delivery, but will try that soon. Service in-house was fast, but I did notice a lot of people waiting around for their take-out.

My partner and I have been here twice now and have not been disappointed yet. We are both vegetarians and are so glad that this place says they can make anything on the menu vegetarian. The server was even sensitive enough to ask if egg was OK for us (it is) and added "no fish sauce" as a comment which means to me that if you're vegan, you might be in luck. From the Thai iced tea, to the chive pancakes and Thai salad (large enough to easily share and peanut dressing excellent), to the yellow curry and pad woon sen, everything was very tasty and very well portioned. We would definitely recommend this place to other vegetarians.
