Bangkok 2 Thai

We discovered this place almost by accident and had a series of quality meals from them. Great Thai flavors, reminiscent of what is served in the home country, hard to recreate here. However, last time we went we paid by debit card for food to take out. When I later checked my bank account electronically I found that there was a "pending" charge which did not agree with the receipt stub I had kept. It was almost exactly 20% more. I discussed this with the manager. Within a few days the correct original charge showed in my account. Although this was not a lot of money I was disturbed that this has had happened

I eat here about once a week. It's more "homestyle" thai, but really good. The Chicken Red Curry and Pad Thai are especially good. The dumplings are good but they need a new dipping sauce, which is not good. All in all, tremendous value for the neighborhood.

My coworker convinced me to be "adventurous" and order some food from this place instead of my usual thai haunt. Based on the previous ratings we figured this place would be a good choice. I ordered the pad see ew and the food was delivered pretty quickly. However, the flip side is that the food was really pretty bad, contrary to all the positive reviews posted here. While the noodles were well cooked and not too soggy or anything, the sauce was amazingly bland, and the whole thing was very blah. That being said, I was able to eat the whole thing (which puts it a step above Montien Thai cuisine) but I didnt come close to enjoying it. My co-worker got the Massman curry and it wasnt good either. Bland was the verdict. However, it was cheap. You get what you pay for!

I can't believe that I have lived in the neighborhood for 3 years and didn't know about this place until last week! The food was amazing and arrived fast! We ordered the golden bags, lemograss chicken, and salt and pepper beef. I can't wait to order again and try the pad thai!

I just love this place! After moving into the city recently, I found this cute little Thai restaurant and was amazed! There food is absolutely delicious - so fresh, nice and spicy, and they will tailor the spice to however you like it. The staff is super friendly and courteous, and the lunch specials are really a great value. I can't say enough good things about this place, but if you seriously like Thai food you will not be disappointed if you go here! It's got me hooked to go almost every day, and I'm really OK with that!

I've been eating at this place for over a year. Their lunch specials are really delicious and a great value. I like their masaman curry, pad thai, and thai ice tea. I prefer take-outs or delivery since the restaurant itself could use a makeover.

I walked to this place from third avenue, and was disappointed from the outside. HOWEVER, I went in and I'm glad I did. We ate in, and they serve everything on real plates, and huge portions of each. the woman out front acts like that neighbor who is always inviting you in for dinner. The prices are cheap and the food is good. Could be a little faster. Pad Thai is great, not too oily, and the curry is excellent. A lot of pride in the food, which is rare. One Suggestion- this place is a favorite for kids, so don't go when school lets out!
