This place is fun and has the best chicken fingers you will ever tatste in your life. It's also a very cute place for a brunch date.

suprisingly good crabcakes
Being a regular in the neighborhood, I visit Banc regularly. I decided to try their crabcakes for the first time. I was skeptical at first, because of the price. ($10 for an order of 2 crabcakes? Cheap!) They were suprisingly very good. (Actually more crab than breading) I highly recommend the lobster ravioli as well. Will definitely continue both dine in and takeout from the trendy cafe!

This is a great place
Everything here is the way a restaurant should be. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, friendly service. They are willing to make menu substitutions without any problem and they really take good care of you.The staff is very friendly and accommadating. Order several appetizers with drinks or have a complete dinner. Everything looks and tastes great. Also the perfect place for a party.

Decent food, great atmosphere
I have been here several times, usually for drinks. I have been surprised by how good the food is, although I would stick to bar standards. Still, I prefer to come here just for drinks. It's a nice atmosphere, with friendly bartenders and waitresses.

Not Only Tapas
The Banc Cafe is way more than a place to have great appetizers (try the crab napolian, the blackened shrimp, the spring rolls) but it has excellent food for those of us New Yorkers who eat out more than in. The tuna is fresh and seared rare and delish- the sesame crusted salmon is another favorite. In the summer- the outside is the place to be, particularly if you have your dog with you. They are accomodating to doggy sized chicken portions and are quick to get you water for you 4 legged guest. All in all- its an experience we have at least 3-4 times a week.

went here on a Saturday night with some girlfriends. We were surprised at how gorgous the atmosphere was. We were going to just start off there, but were having such a great time, we didn't want to leave. The music was great, nice crowd, and the drinks were easy to get. We ended up eating at the bar-the food was amazing and nothing seemed to be a problem with the bartender. He was more than happy to get us whatever we wanted to eat. He was very attentive and he recommended some great drinks. Would definitely go back again and bring more friends next time!

Solid Neighborhood Spot
This restaurant offers a cool, updated loungey bar feel with a well stocked menu. The food is good, not amazing, but what else can you expect from a standard american menu. I typically order lunch from them. Service is reliable, there delivery men dont look like the just emerged from washing dishes, with a dirty white apron, and the food is reasonably priced and edible to eat post-delivery. Altogether one of the few spots in the neighborhood which isnt fast food that you can get a fairly healthy lunch from...
