mmm cheap booze and yummy sushi
I recently went to Bamboo 52 with some friends for happy hour. You seriously can't beat the happy hour prices ($3 off of most cocktails, $2 off of already cheap beers)! The sushi is also delicious. My only qualms with the place are that the the drinks are kind of small, the sushi pieces are especially small (although they're delicious), and there weren't that many people there. If you're looking for a more intimate, quiet atmosphere (e.g. if you're going on a date), I highly recommend this place. However, if you're looking for a more upbeat restaurant/bar, then this is probably not the spot... I would still go back though!

Best ambiance & sushi rolls
Had the best sushi rolls here! Both me & my fiance's drinks were perfect... Happy hr prices were good. Service was the best we had all week in NYC. Our server was great! Good service & wonderful personality. Try the deluxe dragon roll & get a mojito!

Sushi Oasis
My 18-year-old son and I had dinner here last night. We arrived early (5PM) and had the place to ourselves. Sat in the lovely garden and caught the last rays of sunlight. Our waiter could have been nicer or more attentive. My son said the sushi was the best he's ever had. No complaints!!

Overpriced and poor service
I've had dinner here tonight with friend, the service was rude and spotty. Ordering my second drink and food never came, we just ask for bill and went to another on nine (after the first) was a painful and boring. not come back again

Nice ambiance, good sushi, Happy hours
We decided to try this place as it was on restaurant.com and looked like a good place. We went for dinner on Saturday evening. I have to say it is nice place, good ambiance and great food. It was just me and my husband, but this is good place for groups as well. They also have garden area in the back. We got a small private booth area. They have happy hours even on Saturdays before 9.00pm which saves you some money. Food was good. brown rice sushi was really good ( we have had real dried brown rice sushi in some restaurants, where as here it was well cooked) Overall, service was good as well.

Amazing Service
I came here with my friend the other night, and aside from the delicious mojitos and sushi, the service was amazing. You could catch some of the bartenders dancing along to the music, which was hysterical, and right when u finished a drink they were their to ask if u wanted another one. Plus they struck up great conversation, and were so friendly. I loved this place, cant wait to go back.

great sushi!
i love this place!! the sushi is a bit pricey ill admit, but its definitely worth it. the lovely roll (chilean sea bass tempura roll) is absolutely amazing. not crazy about the shrimp tempura roll since it has lettuce in it, and makes it taste a bit strange. the service has always been friendly whenever i have gone and you cant beat 1/2 price drinks till 9 every day.
