    Very Disappointing

The dishes seemed as though they were the assembly of pre-prepared, frozen or processed foods. The chicken, although I did not pay the extra dollar for white meat, was unappetizing.

    Hit or Miss

I've been here a few times. One time it will be great - tasty margaritas, good service, good salsa. The next time, the waiter will be completely out of it, and the margarita will be pure sweet with no lime taste whatsoever. Stay away from the picadillo entrees - the seasoning is more italian than Mexican. But the chicken items are fine and potato quesadilla is always good.

    Bamboleo Regulars! We Love It!

We are so excited to have such an outstanding -- yet casual and fun -- Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood. We absolutely love it. I always get the chicken enchiladas in mole sauce and my husband gets the taco platter, and the food is SO good -- not to mention the shockingly reasonable prices. We also love their sangria. You should definitely give it a try!

    Disappointing experience

Came here on a whim. our waitress was totally out of it and the sangria was really, really weak.

    Not recommended

I live in the neighborhood, and finally went to Bamboleo last Friday. I was astounded by the poor quality of the food and service. After sitting down and ordering a pitcher of sangria, it took approximately 15 minutes to get it. We are talking about filling up a pitcher here, not making it from scratch, and it's not like the place was packed. That basically set the tone for the rest of the night: our waiter was spectacularly inept, everything took ridiculously long to come, and the food was pretty poor. The guacamole had that special tang that only comes when you take it straight out of the huge Costco-size container, the beans were super runny, etc.

    Great!

I enjoyed this place a lot. It is very cozy and just stepping inside makes me feel good. The food is delicious and the prices are too. The waiters are very friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
