    Great food-Only tried it Order-In

We just ordered in some nachos and tacos and rice and beans and it was great. Delivery was quick and food was hot when it got here. The cheese was actually still melted on our chips not that leathery semi-melted glop that nachos usually have. And we are pretty sure that the Pico de Gallo was made with actual real tomatoes and cilantro and not canned stuff pureed like you sometimes find in NYC. I am pretty sure this is the real deal. We will order from them every time we want nachos at 10pm. And other times too!

    Not that bad!

My boyfriend and I have been to this place 3 times and I feel terrible for the place for getting all these horrendous reviews! Each time I've eaten here, it's been on a Friday night, not long after getting off of work, when I'm ready to enjoy some drinks and unhealthy food. Yes, it's not the most amazingly decorated place ever, but that is not usually something I care much about. I'm always given a nice welcome and attentive service, and have a great time! I highly recommend the steak fundido. Amazing.

    Unpleasant Food and Service

I have never been treated this rudely at a restaurant. The food had no taste and could have been better if it was just in the frozen section of the supermarket.

How is this place still here?

It is pretty hard to make Mexican food that is just no good. This is the kind of place that put like a frozen vegetable medly into the vegetarian enchiladas. And you have to take off a few for Mexican places that charge for chips and salsa unless they're extra classy. This place must only stick around because unwitting people keep stumbling in. Too bad, it's a nice spot for a good restaurant.

Food was ok. drinks were ok, service not ok!

I went to Bamboleo with my sister who was visiting from out of town last Saturday. We decided to give the place a shot after reading the menu. The place is decorated in a sort of tacky red, green, and white (Mexican flag colors) but that's ok... I didn't mind it at all. When we got there the place was empty, and we recieved quick and courtesous service, but soon afterwards the place got packed. And as soon as it did, we were ignored by our waitress. We didn't catch her attention for about 20 mintues and when we finally did flag her down, it took literally another 20 minutes to get our 2nd round of drinks. The margartias were overproof and bland so we tried the Pina Coladas which were obvibiously straight from a can and also bland. The food was good, or maybe I was just hungry, but it doesn't excuse the really poor service and drinks. Won't go back.

    DISSAPOINTING!

our teacher took us here for a great meal that we could speak spanish with the waitor etc. it was very dissapointing when we spoke in soanish in a mexican restaurant and the waitor says "i dont speak spanish"...i mean that was the whole reason we went there. on top of that the service was horrible...we asked for tortufo, "no tortufo" we ask for mandarin sodas "no mandarin sodas" the food was okay but the service was not good. if you're looking for a good restaurant i do not recommend this one =[]] also they totally destroyed a guitar to make a tip box ahha,,,its an ok atmosphere in a mexican restaurant playing pop music...

    Disappointing Food

I ordered vegetable enchiladas with ‘spicy sauce’. The enchiladas were small, there was hardly any sauce and the vegetables inside were bland and undercooked.
