I had a really pleasant experience at this restaurant, the food was good (except for the empanada... tasted like chef boyardee ravioli). In my opinion, the service was excellent. We did have multiple servers, but they were all pleasant, and service was quick. Looking forward to going again.

This was truly disappointing, and I rarely write restaurant critiques. I arrived on a nice day, asked for the outside table, and sat for about 15 minutes before anybody attended to me. It was at 5pm, and the place was practically empty. The waitress was moderately friendly, but after I ordered chips and a margarita, they brought the chips but no margarita. The drink was about what I'd expect for a lower end Sysco margarita mix kind of joint, but it took almost 25 mins from arrival to first sip, which had me expecting fresh squeezed lemons. The food came, and it was your standard beans out of a can / microwave food setup, and the mole did not taste at all like mole (I lived in MX for a long time, and feel like I have some authority to critique Mexican food). Then, after finishing my margarita, nobody came out and asked if I'd like another (obviously!), and I waited 10 mins with an empty glass. Couldn't figure out if they really wanted to sell anything. Finally I had to walk inside, get the waitress, who started to show me to another seat thinking I was a new arrival (she had forgotten me). She boxed the food up (I'm broke) but never brought the check! again, waited for about 5 mins and it didn't look like she was interested in coming out. Another couple sat down, and I almost warned them against it. I went in, asked to pay the bill in front to the kitchen, and politely suggsted that another couple had seated themselves. Defensive response:"yeah, well my shift is about to end"

In this neighborhood, it's decent food at a good price. I've yet to find authentic Californian Mexican food but this place seems to be the closest thusfar!

I absolutely love this place. I have been going there for 2 years now, and every time I am there I have a wonderful time. I read some of the reviews from before and they are just not true. Its a reasonably priced place, with great food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Food was ok. No managers present! Waited on by three waiters, which will obviously get some things mixed up. Argued very unprofessionally and was condescending. Not cool.

Decent place for W Village Mexican. If you are hungry, get the burritos here, they're filling and delicious. Skip the specials, unless you want a much smaller amount of food. Chips and salsa are an extra $5 - I didn't know this until the check came. They sometimes have an acoustic guitar player, which is a nice touch. Service could be a little better.
