Good luck getting a delivery
I did the research, and it suggests the only time you're likely to get a fast delivery is when the cosmos align. All other times they don't have a delivery guy, or he has 20 other bagel orders to deliver before yours. If youre in walking distance, just suck it up and walk over, otherwise you'll wind up at your local deli eating a BEC before your food comes (if someone is even there to delivery anyway).

Best Bagels in North Brooklyn
Even though the selection here is smaller than The Bagel Store in Williamsburg, Baker's Dozen beats them in bagel quality. Do a taste & consistency comparison. The Everything bagel from Baker's Dozen makes The Bagel Store's bagel taste weak... true! I've never tried the soups or salads here & the non-bagel baked goods look cheap. But, the breakfast is a good straight up diner breakfast & the bagels are the best!

phone service
I tried to call ahead to place a delivery order for some of the breakfast platters they put on their menu. "that's just not possible..." then hung up on. No sorry. No explanation. Didn't even want to hear what I was going to order. Sorry for trying to give you some business.

Very slow
I have never witnessed a more inept crew of employees. Salt & Pepper, Ketchup?...doesn't matter...go elsewhere

Good reason to eat breakfast in the neighborhood
Really good bagels, perfect consistency. The selection is not as big as bagel store in Williamsburg, but the quality is all there. I don't know what that last guy is complaining about price-wise, you can get full breakfast for two for ten bucks - eggs, home fries, bagel, sausage. Better cheap breakfast than nearby light bites or double decker. The service is always great, polite employees & a clean store. My only complaint is that I wish they had better quality bacon. Oh, the coffee could be better, it is just standard nyc deli coffee. Really glad these guys are in Greenpoint!

Guys...Your NOT in Manhattan
Great bagels, very good food. At least 6 kinds of cream cheese, spreads and salads that are sure to please. With the influx of yuppies and hipsters the prices have risen to Manhattan levels. Yes they are worth a visit. I go once a week for breakfast,i would go more often if the prices were lower. BTW the staff are great people who aim to please.
