Best Cupcakes in NYC
I'm so happy I found this gem while walking in Soho today. At first, I wasn't thrilled about the idea of waiting in line for cupcakes, and almost walked right by, but I decided to suck it up and wait it out. I found myself getting more and more excited as I got closer to front of the line. When my turn finally came, and I popped that first cookie dough into my mouth, let me tell you, I was soooooo glad I waited it out. I've had Magnolia, Crumbs, Buttercup, and almost every other cupcake in the city, and this place is hands down the best. I'm telling you, you pop one of these things, and you'll want to eat 10 more instantly. My future sister-in-law's bridal shower is coming up in 2 weeks, and I will 100% be bringing some Baked by Melissa cupcakes with me...

I'll be back for more!
The first review is a bit harsh. The cupcakes taste amazing, regardless of what this person says! I swear, the chocolate peanut butter ones are orgasmic! I admit they are a bit expensive, but considering the rent in SoHo, I'll cut Melissa a break for that. I wasn't aware at the time that I could only get half a dozen or a dozen, and the window lady seemed kind of annoyed, but considering how hectic it was (crazy long line of tourists), I'll let that slip by. These are great if you want a little indulgence, but not too much! I ate my box of 6 within minutes. I'll be back!!!

Delish
Anyone who hates on this place is just nuts. The cupcakes are tasty and look amazing too. And the little spot they serve from is cool as hell. Luckily I do not live walking distance :)

they may be baked by melissa, but they're made by duncan hines
I am so convinced that these adorable bite-size cupcakettes are from a mix that I am willing to bet money on it. They are cute, yes. But almost too moist, like right out of the box, oozing with vegetable shortening sweat. And if the cake wasn't evidence enough, taste the frosting and you'll be reminded of bake sales and birthday parties where the partially hydrogenated vegetable oil icing was scooped from the can. Tasty? Yes, if you're PMS-ing or having a childhood craving. But these are not for anyone whose palate is past that of a 10 year old...Take your $10, go to the store and invest in two dozen FULL size Pillsbury cupcakes, canned frosting and all.

Wow!
Someone had an order of 100 delivered to my office last week. I've honestly never seen so many people freak out before. It was like a pack of wolves attacking their prey. Between 20 of us, I think the box was gone in 10 minutes. These cupcakes are tiny and amaaaazing! Cookie dough and s'mores are definitely my favorites. I want more now!!!

yummy but a little pricey
I love these mini cupcakes so much but a dozen for ten bucks is a little bit expensive. Try the cookies and cream and the tye dye.
