    Great Food-Reasonable Price

Just went to Baja Fresh for the first time and I must say it's very good. I got the chicken Quesadilla and was only able to finish half! Can we say dinner tonight? It came with salsa, guac and sour cream (all very good) and I got the mango salsa from the salsa bar to go with it...yum! They also give you a fresh bag of tortilla chips, unlike at Chipotle where you have to pay for it. I got there around 1PM and the line wasn't long at all. Though they did forget my chicken initially, they quickly remedied the situation and gave me a brand new Quesadilla (chicken included) and only charged me for the cheese Quesadilla which was on my receipt. I didn't get a drink, but all this food only cost $7.45 after tax, not bad for two meals worth. The salsa bar is great and there's no limit on how much you can get and there are a bunch of different kinds. I think I've found another new lunch spot!

    Love them Nachos

I'm a Cali expat stuck here in the city and I've been waiting for Baja to open for years! I love the nachos there as well as the Tostada salad. Definitely get your money's worth. Only problem I have is, coming from the west side, it's so far to travel to get my fix. =(

    Not Impressed, small potions

I consider this place just a tiny step above Taco Bell. I tried the 3 fish tacos and could not even bring myself to swallow the Mahi Mahi taco. Portions are very small and not as "FRESH" as they advertise, who't be going back.

dry meats, onions galore and parsley fields

The Lexington Avenue store is always busy. I decided to wait in the long line, and was very happy with the service, as it was quick and efficient, however the food was subpar. I ordered a chicken taco, steak taco and a pork taco and all three of the meats were dry and plain. They pack each taco with a small amount of meat and a whole bunch of raw chopped onions and chopped parsley. If this is what you like, then enjoy.

    finally!

I love Baja Fresh and lived on it all through college... I was SO thrilled to see that sign go up, finally, in New York City. This place is great, a little different from Chipotle, but similar feel. The salsa bar is so fresh and so good, and the baja burrito and burrito ultimo are both delicious. Go!
