disgusting and overpriced
I ordered guacamole and chips for an appetizer, which cost 6.50, and I got a tiny little bowl of guacamole and some chips that could have used some flavor, not to mention the guac tasted like play doh. I got a chicken enchilada, also overpriced for the quality, the chicken tasted like it had been pulled out of soaking in the bottom of an oil vat for a week. I never mind spending money on good food, this place did not have good food.

Excellent quality
The food at Bahia is consistently delicious. The corn, any fish dish, and papusas are great. The staff is friendly and service is good. I would highly recommend.

Best Salvadoran in NY
Having lived in El Salvador, I can hands down say these are the most authentic pupusas I've tried in the States. Everything is cheap and delicious. Service is very friendly. The atmosphere isn't my taste, but the place is clean and well lit. Awesome all around.

One of the Best Restaurants in the Area
I discovered Bahia by accident about a week ago, while roaming the neighborhood looking for an open brunch spot. This serendipitous event has had me eating Salvadoran cuisine at least 4 times since I found the place, and it's only been 6 days! The pupusas are, as everyone has said, amazing. The plantains and fresh cream are also a favorite, and the refried red beans are flavorful and delicious! When we were there, the service was a bit slow compared to most restaurants, but the experience wasn't entirely unpleasant or anything. I live on the border of Bushwick and Williamsburg and have ordered delivery from this place multiple times and each time he food showed up hot and well-wrapped. If you haven't tried this place yet you are doing yourself a disservice!

what a find
The portions are extremely generous and filling. The roast chicken and the tamales are the best. Salads aren' very exciting they consist mainly of iceburg lettuce not anything interesting. Stick to the authentic latin food on the menue.

Amazing
Starting with the warm greeting you receive when you enter, followed by the wonderful food on the menu, and the service is great. The owners and staff are great, so you can just imagine the food. Yum Yum give me some. Try it and you'll keep going back for more.

Papusas yes!
The papusas are amazing. I have tried a couple of the entrees and they were good also. During busy times definitely call ahead for take-out, waiting really sucks.
