Squandered potential
Bahar is an exceptional disappointment. If you call to order, you'll likely have to contend with a teenage girl who lacks any sense proper decorum. Even if you live a block away, which I do, you'll wait at least an hour for your order to arrive -- if they're even delivering which, whenever they feel like it, they are not. And the meals are way overpriced. All of which is a shame because the food itself is actually good. Sorely disappointed in these folks.

great Afghan food...and affordable!
Just to correct the previous reviewer, they do in fact deliver, but I agree that there is no great atmosphere in the restaurant. Despite that, Bahar serves yummy Afghan food, and the portions are large. The pumpkin turnovers (Bolani Kadu) are truly amazing, and I'm addicted to the salmon kebab!

take out only
The food here is so good! It's such a shame that the service is completely rude. The restaurant would be a decent place to eat if the wide screen TV wasn't blaring a wrestling match and that's all the waiter could pay attention to. But definitely do take out. The kebabs, pomegranate chicken and pumpkin turnovers are all amazing.
