Wow
Placed a small order from here the other day, my breakfast sandwich was fine, but the 8 dollar milk shake was pulled out of the delivery guys backpack melted and wrapped in seran wrap, only maybe 16ozs before spillage. The food was good (albeit strange chip choices) but not very decently priced

It's okay
I didn't know what the reviewer meant when s/he said the atmosphere is undecided, since I first only did delivery. I did a pickup order the other day and I know what s/he meant. The place is a bit confused. I think it bills itself as where Brooklyn meets France or where Brooklyn meets Paris or something like that. To that end I think it has executed that billing, but whether that's a good thing is undecided. It's more of a clash between an old fashioned soda shoppe with a Paris bistro and doesn't mesh well. The menu reflects that vibe too. It's not terrible, it's not rave-worthy. It's okay. It may make it into the rotation, but not sure if it will be around if it is just okay. Decidedly lukewarm, overall. You won't go necessarily wrong, but I don't know how right you'll get by going here. Vive la Brooklyn?!

I love this place!
Great food! Always so fresh and well made. I disagree with the other reviewer, this place fits perfectly into the neighborhood.

that's a little unfair
listen, yea the interior of this place is a little ......undecided(?) but, you know, it's still relatively new, and it's a small space. I ordered food from here on a day I felt completely awful, and didn't even want to get out of bed, let alone leave the house. The man taking my order (I think the owner) was incredibly nice, answering any and all questions, ready with full descriptions of every menu item. The food arrived quickly, and was delicious! I ordered soup, a sandwich and a slice of cake, and all of it was excellent. My only complaint, is that the french onion soup was incredible, and despite it being listed as a regular menu item they haven't had it on any of my subsequent trips in there to indulge a second time. gimmee more of that soup.

Poorly conceived disaster
Mediocre food at best. Goofy and unpleasant interior. Completely inappropriate place for our lovely neighborhood. Don't waste your time. Hopefully the new sandwich place opening up close to Fort Greene Park (Brooklyn Sandwich Society) will be much better.
