Surprize!
I order a bagel with Cream Cheese to go and when I open it up, it appears as if my bagel was shot and the cream cheese is everywhere except in my bagel..... next time I won't get it toasted.

A dissapointment
I just moved to the area and decided to read reviews of morning coffee/bagel places to see what's good. This morning I decided to check out Bagelsmith because of all the good reviews. Wow, this was kinda a let down. The coffee wasn't anything to talk about, but the bagel and cream cheeese was pretty bad. The sundried tomato and basil cream cheese had no flavor and left a bad taste afterwards (very strange.) And for being early on a Sunday morning, I kinda expect fresh bagels, and these were not. I wouldn't recomend this place at all.

Yes, finally some good tofutti!
LOVE the bagelsmith! Really great bagels, really fast, and really really good tofutti - at any time of the day. That's what I'm talking about.

New to the nieghborhood
Love these bagels...Well made and tasteful. most places I have them toast the bagels but not here. The service was great and I have eaten there in the morning and night.

About Average
Not bad, not great. Really nothing special at all. Decent bagels, not always fresh, not always seasoned correctly. Just doughy enough to kill a hangover, but doesn't hold a candle to some of the better places in Manhattan, let alone the Bagel Store on North 3rd.

Best corn muffins in NYC
They have the best corn muffins and croissants (aside from fantastic bagels) in New York. They are to die for. I always call in advance for the muffins and croissants because they are always sold out. And the guy always makes them for me. I love the place.

Just an average bagel store
If you're willing to pay a little more money for very good bagels, this is the place to go. The service is poor in the morning, but good at night.
