This is what NY Bagels are all about!
If you think you know where to buy the best bagels in NY and it's not Bagels By The Park...you have no idea what you're missing. I brought bagels in for about 12 people in my office one day and now I am responsible for bringing them in at least once a week. I even have friends who send a messenger to my office in SoHo just to pick up a bagel that I brought in from Carroll Gardens. This place is awesome...homemade, fresh, steaming bagels...accompanied by homemade, fresh whipped cream cheese...you just can't beat that. NY authenticity at it's best!

Great place I like the Pig
everything they have has a great taste and is never dry or to undercooked. a delivery takes a while but its sure worth it. i always get either canadian ham or bacon or some pig type from there with a fruit salad. the pig is amazing bacon 5 stars ham the same. great place i just ordered again 2 minutes ago!

Why on earth do they claim delivery if you can't get through on the phone which is always busy? Other than that, I love this place.

great neighb Bagels
This a regular neighb spot for me. Tip top Bagels in the New York style. Very pleasant efficient service. I just wish they'd turn the radio down. Its always BLASTING.

confused by the poor reviews
this place has always been solid, yes it gets busy during peak times but everyone knows each other and has a very local feel. Certainly the bagels are good, and deli meat selection is consistent, and tuna salad, always a true test item was good, not great but definitely not too mayo'ish either. staff usually gets orders right and is always friendly and pretty quick, much better overall than any nearby coffee shop/deli's on Smith or Court in nearby vicinity.

Ups and downs
I love this place. I don't know why people are so upset with it. There bagels are good and their breakfast sandwhiches are even better. They are always really friendly and the prices are decent. Atmosphere wise, i don't think its terrible to sit down in. I don't get a "fast food feel" from it at all but i guess it could be a little nicer. Overall i really like BBP. ALSO: THEY DON'T HAVE STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE!!! this is a MUST.
