Best Bagels on UES
Best Bagels on the Upper east side, hands down. Fresh, right amount of crisp on the crust. Great options. I suggest trying the Garden Tuna... It has lots of veggies and no mayo. Also, they are super friendly and prompt with delivery.

Excellent!
My company orders breakfast from this place 1-2 a month and every time it's great. Their bagels are delicious and their muffins are scrumptious. Highly recommend this place.. Only drawback is you can get addicted to them!

A must try!
Let me first start by saying that I have been going to Bagelworks since 1994. The bagels and homemade spreads were amazing then, and just keep getting better. Aside from what you would expect from any deli, they also have quite a large variety of homemade spreads and cream cheeses (regular, low fat and fat free), their famous tuna, and of course, their handmade on premises BAGELS. Lest we forget the "to die for" muffins and cookies..I have tried them all. A family owned business that has kept pace with not only its on the go business customers, but also caters to the health conscious. The food is always fresh, made to order and always delicious. These days it is very hard to find a place where the customers needs are considered, the choices are limitless and where high quality is standard..

Best bagel in New York
Been coming to this store since it opened and it has always been the best way to start my day. Friendly people and good food. What more do you want?

Not recommended
I'm shocked to see so many positive reviews. I stopped by for a quick sandwich. As the cashier was ringing me up, I noticed he kept adding $.75 and $1.00 to my total. When asked what the extra charges were for, he replied "lettuce and tomato." Seriously, you want to change me a $1.00 for some shredded lettuce? When I said never mind a very rude women started telling me I'd never find a place that didn't charge for lettuce and tomato. She said she would include the ingredients to my sandwich (and never did!) this one time. Guess what lady? I've been to countless bagel shops in this city that don't try to rip people off and they are actually clean, offer good customer service and taste soooo much better. You couldn't pay me to go here again!
