Some of the reviewers must be living in New Jersey, because I have NEVER had an order take over half an hour. Usually, it's here so fast, I've hardly had time to hang up the phone and get my money out. My order has only been messed up once out of more than a hundred times, and an untoasted bagel is a small price to pay for such a variety of quality food at cheap prices. The person on the phone is always courteous and quick. So stop listening to the naysayers, because Bagel Express is great.

I've ordered from this place over a hundred times and the food is great but the name should be changed. I've got a few suggestions including Bagel Not So Express or my personal favorite, Bagel See You in an Hour. Be prepared to age five years before you see your food.

They have fresh warm bagels, some of the best I ever had--just make sure you explain exacly how you want your order. Ex: 1) if you want a toasted bagel with butter as a side, tell them, they won't ask. 2) If there special says free coffee, you may have to remind them. But the foods good and they have an early bird special for college students aka before 11am. check it out.

Good food, rude and slow people at the counter. Will take you forever to get food inside but once you get past the line and poor service it's pretty tasty.

Seems as though the general consensus is correct for this eatery. No matter how many times I order, due to my laziness, they get the order wrong. Having a minor in logistics I firmly believe I could turn this place around in one week. The employees are running around without a clue about efficiency, therefore the lines are always long and the orders always get screwed up. Great bagels, but give them at least an hour to get to your place for delivery, and leave yourself twenty minutes just to get your order when going directly to them.

I called in a delivery order, which was stressful enough in itself because the person kept asking me to repeat everything I said twice. After I asked them to read back what I had said ordered, they said it's ok, they got it. When the order arrived, I was charged the full amount but they forgot over half my order. I called back and they said I had never asked for the things I was missing and asked if I wanted to place another order. So I did, which they got wrong AGAIN. Save yourself a stressful experience.

I'm usually a H&H customer, but I saw the comments here about the quality of the bagels at BE and thought it was worth a try. In regards to the food...the bagels are very good. Very good flavor and density. Nice job. I tried the lox spread and have to say "don't". It was overly salty and the quality of the lox used was pretty low. I don't expect the highest quality Nova in a spread, but this was really bad. Stick with butter or plain cream cheese. In terms of the service...pretty funny. No exaggeration, there were 7, yes 7, people working behind the counter yet only one order was being worked on at a time. There was 2 people before me and it took close to 5 minutes for them to take my order. There were 2 people working on the same cup of coffee. One was pouring in the coffee and the other was nudging in putting milk in the cup. It was pretty funny to see.
