Surprised
I guess everyone's experience here w/ service is different. I've lived near the 94th/2nd store for 10 years and I order breakfast delivery from them at least once every 2 weeks. The only negative experience I ever had was ordering once and they said there's a $5.00 minimum. That's it. No one is ever rude and my food always arrives quickly. I love the bagels - but can't review anything else.

Poor service
I ordered a delivery at 2 PM. They forgot a bagel in my delivery so I called back and they said they would send someone over. I called back an hour later because no one showed up. It was 3:15 and the guy that answered said he couldn't send the bagel because they were too busy and had 10 other deliveries and he didn't know what happened because it was before 3:00 and his shift started at 3:00. I told him this should be more important than the next ten deliveries he said he had. He didn't care and said he could bring it tomorrow if I wanted or when he gets off at 8:00!! He refused to listen to me so I get no bagel.

Avoid
The food isn't terrible, but the service is absolutely atrocious and it is way over-priced. There are two places, one on York and 86 and the other on 1st and 88 (which I think is temporarily closed due to a fire) that are light years beyond this place. I have lived up here for about four years and I often decide to give this place another chance. But it just keeps getting worse. Now I go to see how low they can go. Do not go to this place.

Incredibly Rude (even for NYC)
After waiting 10 minutes for a gyro, I was told that they had run out of pitas. They offered to make it into a wrap instead. Fine I said. After another 10 minutes, they rang up the item and charged me an extra dollar. When I asked why, I was told that it cost more because it was a wrap. The logic that it was only a wrap because they had run out of an item listed on their menu was lost on them (or rather, as they had poor attitudes, they just liked being that difficult). Either way, I will never go back.

I LOVE this place!!
I go here every morning and they have memorized my order- I don't even have to ask for it anymore it just appears on the counter! They have rewarded me with free bananas every once in a while too! I also get delivery from here most Saturday morning. Their Bacon Egg and Cheese on a bagel will cure any hangover! The delivery on the weekends can be a bit spotty; one time they showed up in literary 5 mins (on a sat am!), usually it will be more like 30 mins.

Poor Service, Great Food
With the exception of one guy who works here, I have to say I've never been served by a ruder bunch of guys. I've been living in this hood now, and with the loss of business, due to the 2nd ave construction, you'd figure they'd do what ever they could to get people to come back. The last time I went to grab some breakfast, I was ignored for a good 5 minutes (@10:55am), with 5 guys running around in the back, but no one else being served. By the time I was paying for my breakfast, the guy charged me an additional dollar because he said I ordered after 11! Come on people! I'm a familiar face and the service is constantly poor. Get your act together!
