I ordered breakfast here today and had to wait over an hour and a half for it to be delivered. I was about to call and cancel my order when the delivery guy finally decided to show up. After numerous calls to them, asking them if my order was even on its way, the guy on the phone kept assuring me to "trust" him - that it would arrive in 5 minutes. I guess his definition of 5 minutes was different from mine. Once the delivery guy did arrive, he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't get into the building. Not only did I have to wait over an hour for my food, I had to make my way downstairs to let him in, only to find out that there was nothing wrong with the door at all. He was just being lazy and didn't feel like taking the elevator to my apt. And, of course, the food had arrived cold. I only wish I had canceled my order earlier or had them take the cold food back. I think I was just so angry that I didn't want to deal with them anymore. It's pretty disappointing considering I've lived in the area for a few years now and have had their food before without any problems. Definitely will never order from here again. If you're craving cold eggs and congealed sausage and are willing to wait over 2 hours for your food, then you should definitely order from here!

Wow - nowhere else compares...even better than H&H or Essa Bagel. I love these - they're what I consider a true NY bagel. The scallion cream cheese is soooo yummy that it replaces my usual butter choice. My whole family always asks for these when they come visit! Just wish they'd deliver to my office for "bagel fridays". I LOVE THIS PLACE and am so happy we moved close by!

I guess everyone's experience here w/ service is different. I've lived near the 94th/2nd store for 10 years and I order breakfast delivery from them at least once every 2 weeks. The only negative experience I ever had was ordering once and they said there's a $5.00 minimum. That's it. No one is ever rude and my food always arrives quickly. I love the bagels - but can't review anything else.

I ordered a delivery at 2 PM. They forgot a bagel in my delivery so I called back and they said they would send someone over. I called back an hour later because no one showed up. It was 3:15 and the guy that answered said he couldn't send the bagel because they were too busy and had 10 other deliveries and he didn't know what happened because it was before 3:00 and his shift started at 3:00. I told him this should be more important than the next ten deliveries he said he had. He didn't care and said he could bring it tomorrow if I wanted or when he gets off at 8:00!! He refused to listen to me so I get no bagel.

The food isn't terrible, but the service is absolutely atrocious and it is way over-priced. There are two places, one on York and 86 and the other on 1st and 88 (which I think is temporarily closed due to a fire) that are light years beyond this place. I have lived up here for about four years and I often decide to give this place another chance. But it just keeps getting worse. Now I go to see how low they can go. Do not go to this place.

After waiting 10 minutes for a gyro, I was told that they had run out of pitas. They offered to make it into a wrap instead. Fine I said. After another 10 minutes, they rang up the item and charged me an extra dollar. When I asked why, I was told that it cost more because it was a wrap. The logic that it was only a wrap because they had run out of an item listed on their menu was lost on them (or rather, as they had poor attitudes, they just liked being that difficult). Either way, I will never go back.
