    They are a rip off

They change the prices of their food every time they deliver. They are 100% taking advantage of their customers. I was charged $9.00 for an egg sandwich on a croissant. Every time, I called to tell the manager, that they had over charged me, they said that they would give me a credit. Their cafe latte is supposed to be $3.50 not $4.00 lol you add that up on a daily basis and these guys are milking the hundreds and hundreds of people that are giving them business. I cannot stand dishonesty and these guys are the meaning of it. Next time you order watch how much, they over charge. In this economy, they should be ashamed of themselves.

    Incredibly Rude (even for NYC)

After waiting 10 minutes for a gyro, I was told that they had run out of pitas. They offered to make it into a wrap instead. Fine I said. After another 10 minutes, they rang up the item and charged me an extra dollar. When I asked why, I was told that it cost more because it was a wrap. The logic that it was only a wrap because they had run out of an item listed on their menu was lost on them (or rather, as they had poor attitudes, they just liked being that difficult). Either way, I will never go back.

    I LOVE this place!!

I go here every morning and they have memorized my order- I don't even have to ask for it anymore it just appears on the counter! They have rewarded me with free bananas every once in a while too! I also get delivery from here most Saturday morning. Their Bacon Egg and Cheese on a bagel will cure any hangover! The delivery on the weekends can be a bit spotty; one time they showed up in literary 5 mins (on a sat am!), usually it will be more like 30 mins.

    Poor Service, Great Food

With the exception of one guy who works here, I have to say I've never been served by a ruder bunch of guys. I've been living in this hood now, and with the loss of business, due to the 2nd ave construction, you'd figure they'd do what ever they could to get people to come back. The last time I went to grab some breakfast, I was ignored for a good 5 minutes (@10:55am), with 5 guys running around in the back, but no one else being served. By the time I was paying for my breakfast, the guy charged me an additional dollar because he said I ordered after 11! Come on people! I'm a familiar face and the service is constantly poor. Get your act together!

    Great Bagels/Coffee...Poor Service

I love the bagels and coffee at both Bagel Express I and II (2nd ave at 65th Street), but anytime you call for delivery- the guy berates you and 60% of the time they get your order wrong. I once ordered sausage, and the guy delivered bacon. When calling to ask for an exchange, the guy was extremely rude and arrogant, and flat out accused me of ordering incorrectly. They always forget to include toast, etc. He also hung up on me on another occasion. It's amazing that the owner doesn't care about this issue, and I believe they're losing business because of the staff's attitude. It's too bad because I go elsewhere for bagels now.

    Love this place

I try to stop here at least once a week on my way to work. By far the best bagels in the neighborhood, and I think the best I've had in Manhattan.

    Hit or Miss

A few things about this place: 1) The french toast is great 2) BUT the bagels are freakishly doughy. The are more like focaccia bread. 3) If you get a breakfast plate, be sure to get the platter (with eggs, bacon and coffee). It isn't any cheaper to get it without. In fact, I was charged a dollar extra. 4) Sometimes the guy on the phone is nice, but most of the time, he is a real &*$#.
