Not really much more you can ask for from a small, quick bagel shop. The bagels are great, love their spread variety, the coffee - iced and hot- is good. Bagel with cream cheese and medium coffee- $3.50 in less than 3 minutes, every morning for the past year. People complaining about the rude staff are too precious... it's new york, it's a busy spot, get the heck over it and be ready to order when everyone in front of you has placed their order. just makes sense.

Irrefutably best bagels in Manhattan!

I ordered healthy tuna salad on a bagel and it was just bad. The bagel was very bland and heavy and the tuna salad had way too much dill and was very sweet. They also charged $1 extra to add tomato.

bagels and service with an attitude. If the workers had to work for tips, maybe the attitude and rudness would stop. The bagels are good, (not great) but this is the only bagel place for a few blocks. With warmer weather coming I will be walking farther to a good bagel without the rude service.

The bagels are delicious - I would agree that the staff can be - while not exactly rude - they can often be too rushed. They'll barely toast your bagel just to save time (even when the store is not crowded). But the bagels and the cream cheeses are delicious.

I get a bagel every morning from Bagel Bob's at the University location. Each morning I see and hear the same rude employees - "NEXT", "WHAT YOU WANT", THAT'S NOT FOR YOU", etc... mumbles under breath. No respect for their customers. They hardly ever look you in the eye and expect for you to know they're talking to you, and then get upset at you because you are being "too slow". It's a good thing the bagels shine here, otherwise they'd be out of business. The bagels are great, the atmosphere and employees are terrible.

Nothing beats bagel bob's. There isn't much more to say beyond that. Go get yourself an amazing bagel!
