Bagel Bob's serves delicious food, however the delivery process needs serious work. The people who take the orders usually are difficult to communicate with, and it is a long, tedious, repetitive process of miscommunications. Please, for the love of bagels, upgrade your delivery process, Bob. Because the food is outstanding.

After seeing some of these nit-picky reviews, I just have to add that I personally find the service to ALWAYS be incredibly friendly & accomodating these guys will happily take a credit card for a mere $5 and they'll deliver the same amount of product as far away as Lexington Ave from York with no grumbling! And the coffee is something I'll go avenues out of my way to get... I have seen customers in there get snippy with the servers, and as is human nature, the workers will respond in a matching tone. However, if these gentlemen are treated with a little kindness, they will repay your patronage with a similar positive energy & the results of being a regular here will go beyond mere bagels they make New York feel like a small town.

i ordered a breakfast sandwich and the entire thing was bland. my everything bagel was more of a plain. hash browns on a bagel seemed like a great idea, but these too had no flavor. bob needs to step his bagel game up.

My boyfriend and I live less than a block from three bagel shops and this one is our favorite. They always have a great fresh [select]ion and they allow variety. I can get tofu based cream cheese w/ or w/o veggies and my boyfriend can get regular milk based cream cheese. Plus they do sandwiches and other great deli items.Trust me, we get bagels here every weekend either take out or eat in, it gets my vote.

Tried the bagels after seeing some positive comments but wasn't impressed. They were ok on the chewy but had no crust. The whitefish salad was ok but the bagels were nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Bagel Bob.

my favorite cheap eat on the UES. I've ordered the wraps and paninis and everytime they were fresh and tasty..not to mention that unlike other places that make wraps and paninis, they make theirs incredibly neat, so it never falls apart and s a pile of mess at my desk. Ironically I've never tried the bagels at Bob's but I'm sure they're fantastic and will grab breakfast there sometime.

Bagel Bob's coffee is better than expected. Always hot, fresh, and satisfying. The bagels are of good quality, as is everything from the appetizing menu. Steer clear of knishes, spinach pies, and general bakery goods as mostly stale. These are not made everyday and are not always kept to maintain maximum freshness. The muffins are fresh but something is lacking. The batter might be spread too thin and not as dense or flavorful as it should. The in-store and delivery service is fast and good however you feel rushed along 100% of the time in a rude manner. They take credit cards but do not prominently offer them with signage. You are greated with a grimace when requesting credit card payment because it takes a few seconds longer to do and the machine is under the counter, funaring the line. Sometimes you are told the machine isn't working but I am suspect of that. There is not enough seating and is overun with traffic agents in the morning and high school students in the late afternoon. Get on line take yours to go. Overall a good bagel place with good appetizing, and above average coffee. It is worth overlooking the imperfections, and when you stick to the menu basics you will come out smiling.
