Best NYC Kosher Bagels!
We were in NYC from L.A. for a ten day period, staying on the upper west side. We ate at The Bagel Basket nearly every morning. The service is extremely friendly and efficient. The bagels are delicious, along with the spreads, the salads and the baked goods. The ingredients are Fresh and the restaurant is clean. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

added a yummy touch to our weekend
we were in new york for a wedding. we asked bagel basket to make trays of fish, salad and pastries for incoming guests. the food was absolutely the best. monday morning 20 of us went to the bagel basket for breakfast...each of us had a different breaskast, omelets,pancakes, bagels with assorted cheeses and it was ALL terrific. thank you Susan & Elliot for adding such a delicious touch to our weekend. you deserve 5 stars- EXCELLENT

I'm in love
i only wish there is a Bagel Basket in my neighborhood. I visit my son a few times a year and the only place to go is Bagel Basket. Love the bagels, love the omeletes and the chocolate chip cookies are to die for. NOT TO BE MISSED. whenever i go in to the store i am greeting with a warm hello as if i were family. Keep up the fabulous work.

Excellent Quality
I'm here all the time because the bagels are the best around, the service is friendly and prompt, the spreads, pizza, salad bar and fish specials, grilled salmon and ahi tuna, are beyond excellent. The place is clean and the prices are great compared to other places in the neighborhood. I will continue to frequent bagel basket because i know the staff understands that quality and customer service are what keeps them successful.

I love this place
I been coming to this place for about 4 years, and love their foods, always fresh and delicious and their services is wonderful, there is no other place like this in the neighborhood. 100% recommended.

over-rated
after reading the reviews i decided to try this place - i am underwhelmed. Bagels were tough there was only one slice of tomato, and the cream cheese is eh. I do not mind paying for quality but honestly the bagels at europan are FAR better - wont be ordering from here again - just not worth it.

Old School Quality
I moved out of NY 4 years ago but because I have family right around the corner form this place, I am here at least 3-4 times a year. Even with that infrequency, the owner recognizes me when I drop in which feels great. I know the food can be somewhat pricey, but even growing up in NY, there are few places that take the time, effort & energy to make quality food that you can trust and do it in a friendly way. Its well worth it and I have never gotten "attitude" from anyone; that is other than a "hello" & "good morning, we haven't seen you in a while". I'm a customer for life.
