We were expecting great things, the place looks adorable. the atmosphere could be great BUT our 4 seats around the table were in a "U" shape and not only it was hard to talk, but also we couldn't move our legs. we asked for a chair, so we could sit on the 4 sides of the table (we were sitting on a bench) and it was like if we were asking the woman the biggest request ever, and her attitude was unpleasant and condescending. our waitress was lovely, and kind (only positive thing abt the place). as soon as she came to our table, before ordering our drinks, we ordered two appetizers (a loaf of bread and a hummus) specifying we were hungry and so we could have something to eat while waiting for the rest of our dinner. it toke 40 minutes to get our LOAF OF BREAD - i mean: it doesn't seem something that hard to send out a kitchen. my burger was good (well, it's NYC , burger has to be good), the pickled rhubarb served with hummus was exceptional. everything else was mediocre.

My mother and I happened to come across this adorable looking restaurant one afternoon in the spring. The atmosphere is just so welcoming--and homey. The food was excellent! We both had the hamburger! It was delicious, made to order, and the best part: I did not feel heavy or full. I felt like I could go walking for another mile or so even after having finished such a large burger. Definitely enjoyed this place. We are dying to go back!

The delicious and fresh food is perhaps better than when this space was savoy.
