    Very Good Mexican

Went for lunch with my family, we had ordered take out from this restaurant before and weren't impressed, but this time the food was delicious, we had enchiladas with vegetables and chicken, very fresh and tasty, the refried beans were super hot and juicy, the portions were abundant and refills on chips and salsa came constantly without having to ask. The restaurant itself has a lot of character for a small neighborhood joint, the decor looks authentic and inspired. Finally, the service was very attentive, we never had to ask for water refills or more drinks, the food came on very hot plates (that is a nice touch), the waitress was very nice and fast, overall a very good experience, we will go back for sure!

    Great Mexican food is here!

I love Mexican food but I could not seem to find an authentic and great Mexican for years till I had a chance to try this one. It is incredible. You must try Chimichangas!!! I assure you that you will not regret it! You will get hooked on it instead! Trust my word!

    Fabulous

What a gem! I found this palce a year ago and Ive been there at least 20 times since then. The food is phenominal. Yes, the service can be maddening sometimes, and when it is crowded you can be on top of your neighbor, but all in all if you want the best mexican food in the city, go here. Also on monday nights it is buy one margarita, get another free.

    Best Mexican in NYC

I have ordered from Baby Bo's numerous times and it is definitely the best Mexican in NYC. Everything I've had here is great (the beef tacos, steak nachos, chicken flautas & the mole enchiladas), with exception to the fish tacos. The portions are huge and the value can't be beat. I do agree with other reviewers that service can be slow though. Definitely coming back here again and again!!!!

    Pretty Good-but bad Guacamole

The food is very good here. I had enchaladas with mole sauce-really good. Large portions. The drinks were good as well. It was very tiny in there, but decorated nicely and had a great authentic atmosphere. My only compliant was the guacamole. One of my favorite things about going to a Mexican restaurant is having guac and chips. Their guac is $7.95 and tasted like it was avocado mashed up. No seasonings, no flavor at all. I love avocados and guacamole but I had no desire to eat this puree. Order the mini burrito appetizer instead!

    Ehhh ... ok I guess

So not impressed with this place. Got the chipotle enchiladas and while edible they were so heavy and overdone that they weren't anywhere close to good. We practically had to tackle the waitress to get water or more salsa or even the bill. Just nothing to recommend this place.
