Lighten up on the phone delivery guy !

It seems someone gets a little cranky when they are hungry! I have lived in Murray Hill for a very long time and constantly order delivery from Baby Bo's as well as other restaurants in the neighborhood, and have never had a problem. I think it is a great service these restaurants provide to those of us who don't want to cook, or wash dishes or take our fat arses out to eat! Here is some advice to the guy who thinks phone delivery people are rude... maybe you don't deserve to order from "nice little hole's in the walls". I have always been courtious and polite when ordering and have never been spoken to rudely. Don't let your hunger pains get you twisted. Understand that you are not the only one ordering dinner. Don't demand things. And most importantly your words of kindness will work wonders on some poor college kid trying to put himself through school taking YOUR dinner order. If all that fails, take a cooking lesson and stay home and cook for yourself,

    Who answers the phone?

I really like this place - I have lived in the neighborhood for years and not only gone myself - but brought friends and recommended this restaurant. The food has had highs and lows - older fans will remember a reworking to an "upscale" the menu that was a resounding failure. Now that they are back to what they do best- good margs and hearty Tex-Mex why is there an attitude when I call? You dial, get a bored sounding person on the other line, tell them you want to place an order, and are asked "casssh?" Then as you ask for your dinner you are spoken to like you are lucky. Food is good. Restaurant is still cool. But order man? You need to learn how to be pleasant! I am ordering a burrito, not a Bentley. And plus? Small cool hole in the walls are supposed to be friendly.

    love it!!

i've lived in nyc my entire life, in murray hill for the past 4 years and this is possibly the best mexican food i've ever had in the city. not so condusive to a quiet date night and not really a family joint (at least at night), but the staff is great, the food is fantastic and the decor is pretty effin cool. check out their day of the dead mural. and DEFINITELY go for the margaritas- they're known for them. and monday (margarita madness) nights, it's happy hour all night!

Some of the best burritos ever

The food is really good here - free chips and salsa and really tasty Mexican food, including some unique items. They have one with mushrooms and plaintains, for example. And their grilled vegetable burrito actually has grilled vegetables in it - you can taste the grilled flavor, it's yummy. Portions are pretty generous here. I like the interior. Sure, it's crowded, but the decor is kinda unique, with all of the Christmas lights and antique-looking crosses and the Day of the Dead mural. I don't get the complaints about delivery. Maybe I just live kind of close, but had my food to me within a half hour I think.

food not bad but delivery sucks!

It is one of the better Mexican places I've had food from, but their delivery times vary- not on the good side. Over 1.5 hrs to deliver an order less than 3 blocks away- I guess I should just dine in.

    great service!!

baby bo's is such a cute little place in murray hill, the owner personally came over to our table and made sure everything was all right several times and even sparked up a convo on our way out - the food is AMAZING, i had the harvest moon burrito and it was a dream...the margs are pretty good but i wish they were a bit cheaper...now that i see the reviews i really wish i tried the nachos, but DEF will be back!
