The best chimichangas!
I came to Baby Bos many times over 5 years and loved it. Stopped going for a while because my husband had it in his head that he didn't like the food, though when asked he couldn't remember what he ordered and what he didn't like about it. We went recently (I convinced him to give it another chance) and he takes it all back. He loved it, I loved it. I always order the chimchangas. I tried the chicken, the beef and now recently the garlic shrimp. The garlic shrimp chimichanga is the best by far and I loved it so much and now am addicted and I am going back again today for more.

Terrific Food, Terrific Service
Great restaurant. I found the food to be among the best in town. Everything I've tried - fajitas, enchiladas, guacamole have been very fresh and flavorful. The chipotle is amazing and addictive. Watch the margaritas though they're stronger than you think going down. It's a fun lively place with a friendly casual feel. It's definitely my favorite place for mexican in NYC!

confused about all of the rave reviews..
I decided to try Baby Bo's after reading all of these great reviews. I was a bit hesitant at first as some reviews noted that it's not as good as it used to be before they went upscale. Even though they apparently went back to being more in line w/old prices, the food is mediocre Nothing tastes bad but everything is a bit on the bland side and not even close to being as good as mexico lindo. i regret decided to try baby bo's because mexico lindo is much much better. also, the guacamole is really bad here.. like one of the old reviews said, it really tastes like mashed up avocado with a sprinkling of onions. the pico de gallo was probably the best part of the meal. flautas were dry, burrito tasted like it was boxed rice and beans with hardly any beef. very disappointing. at best, it's a place to get some margaritas at the bar with some mediocre food to munch on.

Good stuff
The previous review seems a little mean spirited. The food is really good, and the atmosphere is great. I'm not sure you can blame the customer if the phone guy is rude...it is a service industry after all.

Lighten up on the phone delivery guy !
It seems someone gets a little cranky when they are hungry! I have lived in Murray Hill for a very long time and constantly order delivery from Baby Bo's as well as other restaurants in the neighborhood, and have never had a problem. I think it is a great service these restaurants provide to those of us who don't want to cook, or wash dishes or take our fat arses out to eat! Here is some advice to the guy who thinks phone delivery people are rude... maybe you don't deserve to order from "nice little hole's in the walls". I have always been courtious and polite when ordering and have never been spoken to rudely. Don't let your hunger pains get you twisted. Understand that you are not the only one ordering dinner. Don't demand things. And most importantly your words of kindness will work wonders on some poor college kid trying to put himself through school taking YOUR dinner order. If all that fails, take a cooking lesson and stay home and cook for yourself,

Who answers the phone?
I really like this place - I have lived in the neighborhood for years and not only gone myself - but brought friends and recommended this restaurant. The food has had highs and lows - older fans will remember a reworking to an "upscale" the menu that was a resounding failure. Now that they are back to what they do best- good margs and hearty Tex-Mex why is there an attitude when I call? You dial, get a bored sounding person on the other line, tell them you want to place an order, and are asked "casssh?" Then as you ask for your dinner you are spoken to like you are lucky. Food is good. Restaurant is still cool. But order man? You need to learn how to be pleasant! I am ordering a burrito, not a Bentley. And plus? Small cool hole in the walls are supposed to be friendly.
